    I own 4 Fords. A 2017 F250 Super Duty King Ranch, a 2018 Mustang GT Premium, a 2018 Shelby Mustang GT350, and a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat. I bought all of them new and I have problems with all of them that started within weeks of driving them off the lot. Ford has fixed some of the problems, but most of them still exist even after Ford tried to fix them. I love the looks of the new Bronco, but I refuse to buy another Ford.

    Had 2 Jeeps. Latest is an 08 4dr JK….. 292,000 miles-great vehicle. But worn out… thoroughly. But tried to buy a new Jeep…. And could not order one, and won’t consider that 4xe crap hybrid. Ordered a 24 Black Diamond Bronco….. 7 weeks to build, plus 2 weeks deliver. Plus $2k below MSRP….. after test driving…. Bronco is slightly better on road, and should be as good off road as my Jeep…. Which is a mid-level Sport. Thanks for the video….

    Two things that might cause the whistling noise when it is cold. 1. The window might not be closing completely. Such as it stops going up too early. Might be something stuck in the window weather stripping groove or it could be just too much friction of the glass sliding in the rubber and the load sensor in the window motor senses that and thinks the window is closed. You can apply some silicone spray to a twisted piece of paper towel and run that all around the window weather stripping groove to lube it. Silicone preserves and lubricates rubber. Maybe the window would close up all the way then. 2. Since the problem happens in the cold it could be a crease or twist in the door weather stripping. Or it could be a gap in joints of the door weather stripping. Again, silicone spray rubbed all around the door seal might help. Good luck!

    I just found your channel and subscribed not because of this review but because of your overlanding. I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport EcoDiesel but I like to know what problems and upgrades others are having with their Broncos or 4Runners. My Wrangler does not have lockers but I can probably go anywhere you go on an overlanding trip unless you are doing hard core rock crawling. So, it works for me. It seems a lot of people buy a Jeep or Bronco that is way more capable than they will ever use. So, whether it is a Bronco or a Jeep just go off road and have fun. But I will not "Jeep Wave" a Bronco in fact I don't Jeep Wave a Grand Cherokee or Liberty either.

    • @NorthwestBronco
      @NorthwestBronco  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As I've stated in my videos, you don't need a Badlands or Rubicon to do the type of exploring in my videos. BUT I wanted a capable vehicle since indeed I'm solo on my trips and 20+ miles away from pavement. Any basic 4 wheel drive with GOOD tires and a bit of extra fuel is the most important thing.

I traded it for a 2023 Badlands with 2.7 engine, non sas and now have 4000 miles on it with no issues. I am even getting a little better gas mileage than with the 2.3 engine. We have 2 Wildtraks. A 2 door and a 4 door. We love them. I have had Rubicons in the past and prefer the Bronco. As far as the tie rods. I think Ford is hoping warranties expire and they don't have to replace the HOSS 2 set ups that never should have been on the Bronco. The new ones come with HOSS 3 and it is supposed to be better. I am going to upgrade both to either the HOSS 3, 74 Weld or Bronco Buster steering rack and tie rods eventually. They are pricey though. How do you like the frameless windows? I would prefer framed windows. That would solve most of the problems we have with them presently. Overall, it is a great competitor to Jeep and can go anywhere I have been in a Rubicon.

    I agree with the window whistling and the rock chucking Territory tires 100%. I also hate when the volume comes up on the screen. But I really don’t think it’s too hard to hit the ok button to return to GOAT mode. I have actually found it useful when I’ve left on a mode and returned to pavement and forgot to take it out. I put the steering bushing from Broncobuster on my Wildtrak and added the tie rod sleeves from Rough Country. I also added the Zone offroad perch collar lift but I find it has too much body roll. I’m going to remove them and try the Eibach 2.0 shocks which I just watched a video that said they may the rear of the vehicle feel wiggly but I already ordered them so I will test them out myself, since I am running stock size tires. The other issue I have is the lack of storage. I wouldn’t mind a wider Bronco with a large center console. I have 106,000 km on my Bronco. I do like it, but the whistling window drives me wild. Way too much road noise. For that reason I think I will buy a pickup after this one is miled out. The biggest surprise was how capable it is out the box. I had 2019 Chevy High country before this and the turbo six is a very comparable. I thought I would notice huge power losses but that’s not the case. I would not buy one with a removable roof if I had the choice. I enjoy the ac and keeping clean and I have had roof leaks in the carwash. The seats are fairly comfortable. I have gone on several trips over 1000km and I was comfy the whole way.

    I finally found a solution to the whistling coming from the passenger window. I tried everything and it drove me nuts. The sound is coming from the top front corner of passenger window. It sounded like it was center to back of top of window. I cut a piece of hard foam into about a 2 inch long piece in a pencil like shape. Stuff it up in between the rubber seal and roof lip to make the front top corner fit tight. After months of adjusting front and back windows, applying lube to rubber seal, etc. This fixed it. @@NorthwestBronco the build quality wasn’t what I expected from a $50k vehicle, value tanked, parts are very expensive and for example tires wear out quick. The cons seemed more like not that big of deal tho i will say as someone that on Bronco #2 the windows issue should be a recall. My first Bronco was a 2023 Outer Banks softtop with the 2.7 and the noise ans rattling made me literally hate the vehicle. 6 months later i have a loaded i mean loaded 2024 Wildtrack hardtop and all the issues i hard with the 2023 where gone. Idk if the change something but the windows work great zero noise. I did notice a ton of window gaskte flaws on the 2023 as well. If you cant get ford to fix the whistling id put a peice of weather sriping in you window seal.

      I've heard the newer Broncos have several improvements. Those little things that were issues on the earlier models. Mine in indeed a 2021. Good to heard they may be working on some improvements. How were the doors? I've heard they feel and sound more sturdy on the newer models.

    • @TheTruth420
      @TheTruth420 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @NorthwestBronco the doors seem to close with more weight and you have to put a lil more force in closing them but thats not a vad thing. IMO the build quality is way better than the 2023, not sure when my 23 was built which i feel like was right before the strike but the issue i had with trim gaps and other a few other things are gone.

    • @TheTruth420
      @TheTruth420 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @NorthwestBronco on my 23 the passenger side canopy trim you could stick you hand in and grab the air bag. My windos constantly forgot position. Windows rattled. Noticed two days before trade in the rear driver side door had a painted over rushole or shit weld. Dealer took care of the trim kinda but the rattles they said are the cost of owning a a off road vehicle 😆. I went thru my 24 with a fine tooth comb and found no issue, yet 😅. Nice they update things but if you own a earlier model year you get fucked. Buyers shouldn't be R and D. Ill be keeping this Wildtrack for ever tho

    It appears that sensitive people shouldn't get a Bronco. If you are a sensitive person, get a Toyota. I drive a 2013 FJ and I live with the FJ quirks and feel thankful to have a very capable off road vehicle even if it's not perfect. 😊

Another annoying thing is when the wireless Android auto disconnects, which is all the time You cannot reconnect unless you're at a complete stop. This is for safety reasons which is a bunch of BS! So you're on the highway doing 80 your Android auto and maps disconnect, pullover come to a complete stop to reconnect your Android auto. What a POS
