Looks like the weld issue on the pin in the diff caused it to let go. For some reason the first couple of years the welded pin in the front diff wasnt done well. When it lets go it binds up the diff and then things explode. I have had a few of these and rebuilt them. I like how the engine is or was made compaired to the newer stuff. They used roller bearings in the big end of the connecting rods. The newer 951cc engines had a couple upgrades (2011 and newer I think) but over all the same engine. Arctic cat used the same "style" engine in the prowler sxs but it was detuned for use in the 4 wheeler. Some of us wish we could turn them up to the sxs power level but there never was a great performance following for these.
I learned something new today, I thought arctic cat just copied everyone else. 2008 was the year i graduated as well, that was like 4 years ago or at least it feel like it 😂
@TheATVHustle it can't be more than 5 years at the most. The 1000 wildcat was pretty ground breaking too when that first came out, it didn't take long before everyone passed them though.
I forgot about that one!

It would be crazy to have an engine from a wildcat x in one these atvs. I believe those were like 95 hp
How many actual miles on it? 1400 was Trip 1
The odometer was the same too. Right at around 1400 miles
