The Cairngorm Mountain Railway 14 July 2023

We took the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, which opened in 2001, and is the highest railway in the United Kingdom. The two-kilometre long funicular ascends the northern slopes of Cairn Gorm, the United Kingdom's seventh-highest mountain, serving the Cairngorm Mountain ski resort. Using the Ptarmigan Station Cafe and viewing terrace which is at approximately 1,097 m (3,599 ft) above sea level
