      No Unfortunately. it comes and goes very quickly. you have to be in the right place at the right time. Last winter was dreadful. however 2013 we were still boarding in June.

    Hi there,
    Nice video!
    Are you able to upload some more videos please, I’m thinking of going soon?! :)
    How much of the resort would you say is open right now and is there a safe enough layer of snow to venture off piste without hitting rocks?

      Plenty of snow in the main basin and most of the western side of the mountain. Weather looks like staying relatively cold so fingers crossed the snow will stay too

      Is it typical for it to melt once the season officially starts? I’m used to skiing in Europe, so I’ve been spoilt.

      yeah sadly most of the snow has melted and they only have the lower beginner area open now.

      The snow comes and goes all the time. You really have to just take what you get in Scotland. It often just rains, then snows, then rains back and forth. But by later in the season there is normally a decent amount of snow builds up.

      We just walked the main road from the car park to restaurant and then to the summit. It was covered in snow but its at a low gradient.

    When is the best time to visit here for the snow ?

    • @michaelshaw9029
      @michaelshaw9029 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Winter or spring. But snow is scotland is always a bit of a lottery. We were just lucky we happened to be here that weekend. I just keep a keen eye on the weather
