Going on 7 months in my first pair of Hyer boots, can’t agree more with you. Hands down the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had, they are are go to boots doesn’t matter what I’m doing there what I grab!
Having worn cowboy boots for over fifty years I have had a lot of good and a lot of bad ones. Nicest looking pair I ever owned was a pair of Dan Posts but man the things gave me an ingrown toenail. No fooling, Dr. in Rapid told me I got it from the boots. The boots I keep going back to and find them to be good wearing, comfortable and affordable are always Double H boots, and I still like to wear a packer, though I'm getting old enough now I seldom wear my packers as my hands are getting to arthritic to tie them. I enjoy your videos by the way.
Just an old hand recovering from my second ankle surgery, suggesting that you get a good pair of laceups work boots for when you are not in the saddles. Ive worn Toni Lama work boots and dress boots, Double H work boots like you have most of my life . Now l wear Justin lace ups when not in the saddle. Bought a pair of Olathe to ride in couple years ago . Great in the stirrup, not so comfortable afoot. Wish that I would have started the lace ups a long time ago though. Also just found your channel and think you're doing a great job!
I like my Hondos. Nice leather and nice and tall. That protects my legs really well when I tuck my pants in. I got them in roughout, which wears pretty tough after I wax them.
Take the money, you’ll have to stash it, cowboy. Get a custom built pair. Wear em till broke in. Leave your spurs on em, so the heel counters don’t bulb out. Then nothin but horseback work in em. They’ll last you for years. Down hear in mesquite country , a lot of us use taps. Sure saves on your boots. Years ago I was ridding in 2” bells. And drove a mesquite thorn clear through my boot, the meat between my big and second toes, then nailed into my insole. Little ouchy when the wagon boss yanked it out with a pair of needle nose pliers. Miraculously my bells grew a leather hood.
I hoping someone can help me here I'm looking to buy my brother a pair cow boy boots they need to be black in color square toed and steel toed his size is 13 wide. I've look quite a bit but i can't find any in black and he wont wear them if there not black if anyone knows of any pull ups it'd be greatly appreciated

Ouch Ouch Ouch! Did you heal up ok?
@ yea , kept working. That was back in ‘86. Little tougher then. Also broke, had to keep going.
White's packers....bough mine in 1989 for 215.00 over 700.00 now SMH. Comfortable well-made and rebuildable. Hell of a boot.
hey guys I just got Durango boots are they any good
They are pretty good. If you plan on working in them a lot the soles with wear out fast on them.
Double H boots my favorite
