EU Parliament approves ban on new fossil-fuel cars from 2035. Cars currently account for 12% of all CO2 emissions in the 27-member EU bloc, while transportation overall accounts for around a quarter, 55% by 2023 from 1999 levels.
Coupled with rising awareness of environmental protection, the global sales of EVs have been soaring in recent years and EVs are now the irreversible trends in the automotive industry.
