Durch den Kalt-Schmiede-Prozess kann man verschiedene Bauformen und komplexe Geometrien aus einem Stück Aluminium oder Kupfer herstellen. Vorteile des Kaltschmiedeverfahren sind die sauberen Oberflächen (keine Verznderung), engen Masstoleranzen, Erhöhung der Festigkeit und Verringerung der Dehnung.
