Great run...your are an islander now.....we always do the puddles...more mud. Just got the recall for the 22...fuel pump, still waiting for the 805 to come in. Garth
Thanks! There's still part of me that gets pulled like a magnet to the mud, lol. I read about that recall. Glad you were able to get the work done before too much of the season passed.
I find it takes a couple rides for your muscle memory and zone of awareness to fully come back after the winter break. It's good to do a group ride like this for everyone to get back into the flow. Cheers!
Absolutely. A chill ride to restart the engines mentally and physically. It was great seeing all the new riders this year too. There always the regular crew, but meeting new folks is a real nice part of this ride. Cheers buddy!
Nice! Some quality electrical tape in that bad boy. Fixes anything, lol. It was great riding with you bud. Stayed tuned for more events this season. I'm cooking up a couple more for the summer.
Great video...i'm from newfoundland and ride a 24 yamaha tenere 700. If you want to plan a trip this way let me know. Lots of places to explore this way for the duel sports. Cheers!
Yes indeed. There's usually a few gremlins that get shook loose early in the season. With all the tools and people it makes it so much easier to troubleshoot. Like a 12 person mobile service squad, lol.
Yes it was great to see this little tradition grow a bit more this year. It's always fun seeing new bikes and new riders getting out like this. Hope your season is off to great start too buddy.
Thanks. I really try to take stress out of the group rides like this. They can be intimidating sometimes to new riders. A great ride like this for me is one that lets you enjoy the ride and get a few cool new pics of your bike.
Great Shakeout video, I wasn't there but felt like I was. Still riding a 2011 V-Strom 650 (converted to an ADV bike) and had my own shakeout ride last Monday with my long time riding buddy @justinwhitman690. Can't wait to get the riding season started and look forward to your next adventures. Ride safe!!
Glad to hear you guys got out for a ride. We've had decent weather here lately, and now that I'm talking about and seeing the bike parked at work here, I might just blow off the afternoon and go for a rip, lol.
Thanks. I've always loved the look of the MT03. The single led light in the front looks so cool, and the teal rims on the newer ones are very sharp. Hope you get lots of days to ride this season. Cheers!

Thanks! Newfoundland is on my bucket list for sure. I want to make it over at some point. It's so beautiful, and I've never been there yet.
truly a shakedown ride with all the fixing going on here!

Great turnout for the shake-out! Strength in numbers for sure, great way to ready for the season. Cheers!

Watching this makes me want to get the KLR back on the road, then find my way out to PEI... great group riding protocols.

Looks like you're having some fun, Was wondering what tooth count you're running on the sprockets? Thx
Yes this ride was a blast and a great way to kick off the season for everyone. As for gearing, I run stock teeth, 15 upfront and 42 in the back.
