It's all in the trim tabs. I have my outside tabs even with the bottom of the boat and the inside tabs very slightly higher than the bottom. The slightest adjustment makes a big difference. I run my batteries in the center of the battery tray. It runs stable at 60mph in smooth water.
Good user report. Gonna be a lot of owners doing the throttle off no steer in to obstacles. I low speed impacted my kayak with the boat trying to steer away. An occasional new hull may be just part of the cost of running. The variety of places it can run is great fun. Bonus:Jet drive is pretty safe to handle for first time boaters versus a Traxxas Spartan with the exposed flesh removing prop.
Great point about the prop. I def think this will open up RC boats to a bigger base, it’s just more fun and you can run it in small spots and it’s a ton of fun.
Search Amazon or ebay for Kydex sheet. I use the .080 thickness. You can use any flexible plastic too. Ive cut up plstic trash bin lids to make parts before, lol. Just make sure its flexible enough so the trim tabs can pivot if if hits something
appreciate this video. So refreshing to hear honest feedback
Should have more boat vids soon now that its warm. I'm hoping to make this thing stronger somehow
cool stuff. Glad to see you back making a video.
More to come!

When in doubt, throttle out. 👍
What are you saying you used for the trim tab to replace the stock links? Kaynex? Thanks for the video.
