I was thinking the same thing Ayo lol. Daryl showed back up at night just in time to eat some supper and snuggle with Lojo in that tiny one man cot. Good stuff!
Build a picnic table for eating and prepping your food, one the best investments for a campsite. A outdoor fireplace would be cool too. Love the videos and keep up the great content!!!
A tarp over the tent, and some reflector walls behind the fire pit. A few 2x4s and river stone to make a patio out front and a few solar panels to charge the battery are my first thoughts. Longer term a root cellar so you could have food stored near the site would be cool. (Sorry if too many are northern leaning ideas, its been 35 yrs since I lived in the south)
I've got a 12 man cabin tent like this that can be set up as 4 rooms. Get a couple of the portable gazebos set up outside for a covered work/relax area. When camping long term (3 days or more) you'll find that you may sleep inside the tent, but you want to spend your time during the day outside of it, so the gazebos provide overhead cover from rain and bright sunlight, as well as providing a covered area for meal prep, washing up etc. Folding tables, camp cupboard, camp kitchens pay for themselves in short order. Stretchers are a lot better than airbeds if you're camping for more than overnight.
you need to do a camping video with norm and ayo. Each person has to use their own budget on what ever they want and need. Let's see how goes all out for comfort. Keep up the good videos from Maui Hawaii.
You might want to fold under the excess ground cloth, to avoid water poolong under your tent, also a small trench around the tent helps with drainage too.
Definitely a great start but I’d like to see you build a cabin around that area where the tent is and set up, then add 2 more campsites for guests!!! As always great video
@@frogsnacks a channel called TA Outdoors (from the UK) did a series of videos where they built a cabin and all sorts of other projects from old pallets.
A Kool addition to the site would be a tin roof over the tent and maybe a platform to get it off the ground. Also a smokeless fire pit with seats around it. Great videos on TH-cam for both. Maybe solar panels for electric power. Later down the road ,close in the platform/roof to make into a cabin for hunting. Then some stands and food plots. Make that little buck into a monster. Plant a field of sunflowers for dove hunting and build a sweet blind with seating so y'all can sit together and have a ball while piling doves up for Darrell to cook up.just a few ideas.hoor to see one soon.
Love it! Just discovered you and AYO today. I keep telling people I need a camera, just recording all the time. My life is just like this. Entertaining as hell! You rock! Keep shining! ⭐💎❤️🤣🤣
Remember its a standard so if you get stranded and your battery is dead you can push start it. Get it rolling and pop the clutch in first gear and she will turn over.
You could make a little camper community back there with pop-ups, tiny campers like you and Darryl built on the trailer, hard sides, 5th wheelers, whatever you decide to have. Each person could have their own camper. That would be very cool and lots of fun. Take the kids camping too!!!
Just some simple and very helpful items. Picnic table, clothes hanger, and add some gravel so it won’t be so muddy and slick at the front side of the tent. Love your content.
Hey Lojo build a small cabin at the campsite. Another TH-camr called Bush Radical builds these inexpensive small cabins and gives step by step instructions. It would be great for hunt/catch clean cook or just camping out for a few days.
Such a good video seeing the mini truck and can’t wait to see what you do with it and the 4wheeler. Favorite quote of the video“I don’t know if it’s just because we are at camp and things taste better at camp… that’s incredible!” The best thing is you ain’t wrong food was always better camping than at home.
Really enjoying the new property videos. Are we going to get some "Lojo learns to bushcraft " vids?? Maybe a shelter build, fire making, tracking and such. I think you and A2 could have hilarious content!
Looking good it would be nice to have a small generator for lighting up the camp don't know how bad the snakes are at night love the videos keep up the good work.
May want to figure out the battery situation for the auxiliary lights and the winch so it doesn't drain the main battery you need to start the mini truck. Good luck.that lil truck looks fun. I like that its all swapped to the right.that would be a learning curve and be fun to learn and run around the trails.
Love the videos. Been camping since I was young. I was always taught that if your tarp under the tent extended beyond the edge of your tent, it would collect the rain water and send it under your tent. Soggy floor situation. So, my recommendation is to tuck under those edges to keep from collecting the rain. Good luck and keep up the content!!
I know you said you haven’t ever done real camping before so I must say if indeed this was your first true camping excursion you pulled out all the stops. From the camp site itself to the tent to the fire to eating some grub to exploring the area at night to waking up and going fishing. Sounds like a good time if you ask me. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next time!
Also trail cam pictures would be awesome to see as deer grow their antlers thru out the summer. $40 wildgame innovations trail camera at Walmart are pretty unbeatable at the price. I have a lot and all work great and good quality
My man paid a Milly for the camping experience and just about anything and everything else you could possibly think of to do out there. Well worth it if you ask me. That was funny as hell though you got him good with that one!
If you’re wanting to make a permanent campsite I would maybe think about getting a utility shed for shelter instead of a tent because leaving a tent out in the elements does wear it down a lot faster
SERIOUSLY LOVING 💓 the Camping Video Content. Would like to see more interactions between you and Andrew2 though. At times it felt like you were showcasing the camp more than camping in the camp. It would be fun to expand on that area some. Cooking, gotta do some real cooking, even if it's backpacking stoves and backpacking foods. Food ready made and warmed or delivered is great but "too City-fied" 🤣 for two Bros in the wild. Campfire cooking on Grates and Cast Iron Breakfasts. A Coleman Camp Stove or wood stove for 🍳 skillet cooking. You'll figure it out, run deep with it!
looking good so far. I say, work on it in small chunks, like rebuilding the boat. Do a little at a time so you don't burn out. You're definitely going to want a more permanent shelter out there because that tent ain't gonna last long. I say, bring the boys out to camp and work for a weekend. Norm is supposed to be an engineer right? Also, what happened to the "I love Spring bass fishing" video that was up this morning? It vanished before I got a chance to watch it.
Heck yes love these types of videos love the budget videos but nothing wrong with a bit of glamping from time to time lol Would love to see a survival budget challenge where you can use anything from nature to help you but budget to set up camp ayo and fishing with norm maybe Davy gravy involved Too LoL
Crap ton of sand bags to make a wall around the place, or blocks! Grab another one of those tents and put the beside each other! And then put a huge tarp over all of it and a catch cook station!

Hey lojo, love the vids. For your tent make sure your tarp isn't exposed from the footprint of the tent or you will get water pooling. You want it to be be at least 1/4-1/2" within the footprint of your tent and not exposed.
@@chrislnflorida5192 no I hear ya, but that one just wandered over to the first campsite he set up on the property. I thought it'd be a cool back story.
Just a tip on your tents ground cover... it's best for it to have a slightly smaller footprint than your tent. Rain water can collect and find its way under your tent to eventually give you a wet floor. Anyways, nice property and cool truck!
Brave to leave that tent out there and in hope that it would survive storms and all. What about building a small cabin on the property for that is off grid that can be a harden structure to use on that spot or another.
A couple of picnic tables and a make shift shelter for just in case situations. But as far as that love the content of the new property. Keep up the great videos
if u'r gonna keep the tent there permanently u mite wanna build a platform to set it up on, it'll keep the underside from molding up and u can secure it to the platform ....
