Same for me lfg seems to be the only one who acts like they are part of googan. Ap went off the deep end lunkers is to busy opening sports cards. Flair is doing the farm stuff and dumb challenge and I never liked John so idk what he does on his channel. LFG is the only one that I know of that makes fishing content along with other outdoor content but he promotes the googan brand. Keep up the content hoss
@@spencercline1957 Becca promotes more than most googans and she's not a googan! I agree about AP and Lunkers but I also have a hard time with one rod... I started disliking Jon when he sold Becca that lemon of a boat. I've always loved the Rackley family and now Flair is starting his family. I like mulletman also but he isn't a googan.
Has anyone else’s Walmart really cut down on the camping section? I used to find Stanley mess kits etc. Now it seems like it’s mostly Walmart-Chinese junk.
Some good insulated leather gloves for handling hot cooking pans... Olight headlamp, MUCH brighter on high with 2500 lumens for a few minutes, 500 for 270 minutes, 120 for 18 hours, and 30 lumens for a LONG time... the really bright setting is nice if you hear a critter prowling, can zap a beam at it and the bright light will often scare them off.
A couple of frozen water bottles to keep your food goods cold plus when the ice thaws you have cold refreshing water for drinking! Another good source for water is to stop by your local Safeway or whatever food store and ask for some food grade buckets with lids. Many have empty’s just waiting for trash and they’re free! Clorox wipe, water rinse, clean potable fill and closed with the lid. Fresh water for me and the dog! Buckets are usually available in 3.5 or 5 gal size. I prefer to also have 2x 5 gal shower bags filled with H2O for wash up and cleaning away from eating/sleeping area. But boon docking time I generally set one on each side of the pickup cab roof between the cab and shell to keep sunshine on them! Or, just set them on the hood! Oh, yeah, I sleep in the shell! I also always make sure to leave a map of my location with better half for those just in case times!
I had an older brother that camped and hunted like you he had a lot , I have it to this day , he Ts got almost everything in you bought plus a couple of those old cool Colman lanterns that glowed on a wick sometimes even exploded, we had lots of adventures here in east Texas mud creek bottom.
Happy birthday Ben and great video I think a cheap folding saw is also essential or at least very handy that could go on that list and of course most people that love the outdoors carry a nice knife
I subscribed since you are a googan and doing a bunch of camping stuff. I missed out on camping all year. Hurt my back gained a bunch of weight haven't left the house much besides to go to work and the chiropractor.
Your wife is such a good mother... Thanks for this edit. Man just right. And it even rained and your set up worked out just right. Tested and approved by LFG..
LFG this is going to help me so much just become homeless after 5 years of marriage only thing I got was my truck so thx you so much and have been following the googen for years and the the tackle videos god bless you and your family my friend
I've done a lot of hammock camping while on motorcycle trips and car camping and if you use a ground pad in the hammock or get a under quilt you can sleep in them in very cold temps!
This is perfect video for me right now! Just got a new truck and want to start camping out of it when I go hunting, since the converted shipping container we used is no longer on the property.
I would always recommend taking something to boil or purify water. I went camping in Ontario with my kids and wife when they were young and they had a boil water notice on the pumps. They were charging almost $6 for a roughly 20 oz water. I tried the cast iron pan and yeah no good for boiling water unless you are dying. Lol Our week camping trip lasted 2 days.
I am 225 lbs I use climbing accessory webbing for my hammocks, I can buy it cheap and cut it to length, with the becket hitch it is the lightest set up ever.
I Love your videos!!! I learn so much about all different outdoor things. I like the fact that you were able to show us how to get started under $200. I would be interested to see the survival kit and a tour of your personal truck camping bin!!
I would like to see your personal loudout for truck camping. Really interested on your Leer Locker. I'm considering a Decked drawer system but I think I would have to have taller cap to have sleeping room. Love your channel.
LFG, do you remember the first time you took OSG to Colorado? Do you also remember that you wished that you had a folding shovel? I personally carry a folding shovel, a camp ax and a folding buck saw.
I do hope you are planning on taking those little ones out fishing. Lol my two got there first fishing rods at 5. Just don't get too upset when you don't get to get a hook wet for the first wile. My son was my fishing buddy till he figured out girls. Daughter is my nature girl. Best memories ever. My Colman stove is at least 3 hand and from the 60s. They are bomb proof.
Justin awesome video buddy for sure!!! I’m definitely sure that lots of people would love to see another video!! I definitely no I would love to see more videos on truck camping!!! I absolutely love camping and I actually always go after the temps drop towards the end of the year and it’s a little more comfortable for sleeping outdoors!!! Last year I went to a lake with my pup that goes everywhere with me every day and we did some fishing and had a wonderful time camping and fishing!!! I also have a hammock and love sleeping in them also!!! They are definitely more comfortable than sleeping on the ground in a tent for sure!!! I sleep so much better!!! Awesome video once again buddy and yes I’d love to see some more videos on camping that you have in mind!!! Maybe I can find something else useful for myself for me to use the next time I go out camping!!!!
I think a on a budget truck camping video would be cool don't have a budget set just one where you get everything you think you would need but it be cheaper stuff. Make it so you are fully setup apart from maybe food and water so people can get a idea of what kind of money they need to save to have a LFG approved truck camping setup
Brother, you always make content that peps up our day! Such a simple concept for a video but You make it so fun, interesting & entertaining. Tis why I ALWAYS use your creator code for all my purchases whenever & wherever I can. Thank you.
a quick tip for getting a 20lb tank if you live in a small town ware you can get them filled at a gas station behind the fill pump the attendants will put the tanks that are out of inspection to be taken away if there nice enough they'll let you take a few. then you can take them to a automated exchange like the ones out in front of Menards and get a new tank for like 27 buck. compared to buying a new tank for 50 plus
Get a couple poly milk crates and the 20lb propane tanks fit snugly and stops them from falling over and rolling. Sometimes you can find the old steel ones and works good also. Alot of people use to make one burner grills or stoves.
Walmart usually has some cheap tent stakes for $1, also you can pick up grey leather work gloves for $2. For water, empty milk jugs with home tap water is free. All great for budget camping.
Can you find an adjustable campfire tripod grill and try some burgers or steak. They say keep it low to the fire food centered and balenced while constantly swinging or spinning
One time i took a 7ft long couch in the back of truck with 8ft bed with a cap on , slept really good and had a comfy place to sit while cooking . Would have done it repeatedly but the couch belonged to a buddy of mine that i was helping move . Couch took 3 days longer to get there . Lol
To upgrade a cheap hammock still on a budget, a bugnet, a sleeping pad IN the hammock and a One Tigris under quilt (amazon). Works great and i think my whole sleeping setup was around $85
Another GREAT video as usual. And the older you get the more I will just pay for a room with a shower and toilet with AC. But I am now 66 years old and a retired plumber. I really do like your how to video's If you were a round 45 years ago I would have put all your great ideas to the test. Like you I was gone almost every weekend fishing or hunting Harry S.Truman Lake here in Missouri
can you do a bass pro shops or cabelas version of this i know those arent the cheapest places for shopping in general but the quality is absolutely the greatest you can get in a store like that
Those lights are pretty good for the price…great for a backup or kids…not a fan of the hammock though…I’ve never been able to sleep in one so I’d have to sleep in the truck bed
Ozark is thiner than lodge skillet but black lock is thiner than both but it's still a lodge skillet so it boils to what you want. To me it's the price all the skillet I own have done good
Thank you for the great content. You are the only Googan left that I watch.
Flair is still good!👍🏻👍🏻
Lfg and Flair for sure!

Pro tip for the 20 pound propane tank: put it in a milk crate. It won’t tip over and you can tie it down much easier
I love you for this
Most my overlanding/camping gear is from Walmart. Everyone always overthinks the gear but you really don’t need much!
Case of beer is absolutely essential!
My parents had a Coleman stove for over forty years before It finally died and they got a new one.
That has to be the cleanest Walmart in the country , wallmart in Michigan you would of been searching the floors for those items
get cast iron that is older and cheaper than Walmart at garage sales and thrift stores. Way better quality. Great video.
You got the steps wrong. Step two is opening a beer according to Steve!! Great content sir!!

Thanks for picking up our 1 Person Tableset! We hope it serves you well! Great video! Keep it up!
Great budget outdoor kit!! Would definitely dig seeing another video with your personal kit 🤘🏻🎣

Happy B-Day LFS!

Always a good video if LFG makes it! I would love to see more videos like this one.
Can always count of LFG to turn a bad day around with another great video.
Thanks for bringing me here Mike from Crazy Quady.
This is perfect video for me right now! Just got a new truck and want to start camping out of it when I go hunting, since the converted shipping container we used is no longer on the property.
I love these kind of videos in addition to the hunting and fishing content.
It’s official. This inspired me to take my son out this fall for some weekends in the woods.
Damn dude…… y’all’s Walmart is packed with product. Our camping section is 85% empty. Kick ass video man!!
Pro tip on truck camping... air bed. Boogie sure, but if space isn’t an issue and it’s not freezing out.
Love your videos lfg thanks for the inspiration and reminder to constantly live life to the fullest. Hope all is well with you and yours!
I would always recommend taking something to boil or purify water.

Those 5 gallon blue jugs have been a game changer for me
I am 225 lbs I use climbing accessory webbing for my hammocks, I can buy it cheap and cut it to length, with the becket hitch it is the lightest set up ever.
I put a pad in my hamick to help from tacoing
"Awesome budget outdoor kit! I'd love to see another video showcasing your personal gear."

God bless you LFG, been watching you for years from that nasty lil roommate in your head til now. Been amazing to see your growth, keep going
Well done !
You forgot about a good camp knife in your opening list. If you mention it later in the video I haven't made it there yet. LOL
And a .45 or 10mm pew pew for self defense.
@@MrGgguy77I'll second that for sure 😊
Great video. Makes me want to get a cap on the back of my truck and try it out! A follow up video is def a must!
Would be cool to see you and Talon Sei do a collab and compare/contrast truck camping setups.
LFG, do you remember the first time you took OSG to Colorado? Do you also remember that you wished that you had a folding shovel?
I personally carry a folding shovel, a camp ax and a folding buck saw.
Yes any of your how too videos are always interesting at least to me. So my vote is bring it on my friend.
I do hope you are planning on taking those little ones out fishing. Lol my two got there first fishing rods at 5. Just don't get too upset when you don't get to get a hook wet for the first wile. My son was my fishing buddy till he figured out girls. Daughter is my nature girl. Best memories ever.

Love this type of video I would like to see a everyday carry bag/ truck bag, testing budget items is awesome!

Would like to see a video going over your go to gear for camping without a small or large budget. Just what works best regardless of price. Thanks
I got that 2 burner Coleman grill..... and I hook up my propane from house grill....
Plus u can double gas as heat if needed
Brother, you always make content that peps up our day!
Such a simple concept for a video but You make it so fun, interesting & entertaining.
Tis why I ALWAYS use your creator code for all my purchases whenever & wherever I can.
Thank you.
A little bit of corn oil is always best when cooking some fish up on a cast iron!
Yes, want to see your kit you normally use. Would be cool.

I've used a few Ozark trail products and have never been disappointed
Great video, would love to see the other video you mentioned about building a small survival kit!

I head to texas on Saturday for one month and i cant wait.
Nice to see the fam.
Yes to the survival kit!
Can you find an adjustable campfire tripod grill and try some burgers or steak. They say keep it low to the fire food centered and balenced while constantly swinging or spinning
I alway love to see your videos. It is great to aee you so healthy again.
Ozark trail also makes a propane double burner for not much.
Thanks for all the great content and information you always give.
You'd probably do even better at an Army/Navy Surplus Store. 🙂
One time i took a 7ft long couch in the back of truck with 8ft bed with a cap on , slept really good and had a comfy place to sit while cooking . Would have done it repeatedly but the couch belonged to a buddy of mine that i was helping move . Couch took 3 days longer to get there . Lol
Yes I wanna see your camping gear
Love everything about your channel. So much to learn by.
Yes I would like to see more of this
Awesome video buddy! I'm wanting to get into truck camping myself soon so this was very helpful.
You can buy an adapter for the 1lb green bottles so you can refill them at home with you big propane tanks for the grill
To upgrade a cheap hammock still on a budget, a bugnet, a sleeping pad IN the hammock and a One Tigris under quilt (amazon). Works great and i think my whole sleeping setup was around $85
Awesome content, I’m thinking about doing a coast to coast motorcycle trip and camping off the bike along the way
Another great video brother!! I’d love to see a how to on the knots used!!
Also I have some high quality camping items but I have a lot of Walmart Ozark trail items and damn good for the price!
Hellz yes for the "survival" kit
I love this video! Keep it simply but efficient, I would just trow my rifle and hunting bag a cooler and all set!
Hell yes I think you buying some more survival gear and testing it. I would watch it
glad to is god is treating you good man love you bro.
omg....ha. love that you said the first thing you need to do is soak it in...because you are in the greatest place on earth. heck yes.
Lets see your truck camping kit

LFG, you still got it!
You should do a video on your favorite knots.
I’d love to see your set up!!
Thanks for another great vid!!!
Love the convenience of having a truck topper, I do not need to set up a tent.
Ozark is thiner than lodge skillet but black lock is thiner than both but it's still a lodge skillet so it boils to what you want. To me it's the price all the skillet I own have done good

Let’s see this setup. May need to copy it 😮
Would love some bushcraft videos!
