i recently got rekt from exequeror navy issue i was with stabber fleet issue it was close call, but i think i lost cuz i didnt overheat, and pre-loaded the right ammo when i saw it on dscan, so he had +3s to attack me so thats why, those shops are hulltanked, not armortanked as i thought? not much experienced in pvp, i think i started to rep armor too late.. because cycle is 9s and i started at 50% armor, so pretty fail, also , not inserted Paste into the repper ffs lessons learned, always overheat in pvp, overheating mechanics are so cumbersome imho need to check if there's hotkeys that i can ctrl+click overheat on/off or smt ;s or what the hotkeys for overheat are, if any
Great presentation! Roaming through Zkillboard is a trip in itself! Perhaps you could highlight some of the more amusing/horrifying fits you found there, it might be an educational opportunity and a good laugh? XD
Null bloccer here. Generally, we don't have Kiki standing fleets. However, they are very common, along with bombers, when a big fish belonging to the enemy has been caught. With enough Kikis and or bombers, it becomes quite easy to kill capital ships that don't have the support of a fleet :D.
Another thing about the gnosis is that when assembled it is the size of a cruiser or so. An orca can carry 4 at a time, while only 1 regular combat battlecruiser.
Honestly I'm using the Vigil in fleets because I was suggested to use it and don't yet have the scratch to so readily throw away cruisers. I sure as hell won't do much support on a Breache or survive as a Rifter, and the Burst just doesn't cut it when there are also shield boosting support cruisers in the field. Can't deny there's also some morale boost at play since my other forays in PvP are less successful, but being seen in that ugly ship really balances it out.
While i quite like eve one thing that i must admit rly got me down in the end was the multiboxing. It rly started to feel like i was at a severe disadvantage in the end unless i somehow managed to fork up the nessecary isk or money. : s I am currious on what your expereince is on that resurected. Like has it been a problem for your eve carriers too?
But multi boxing allows for better and safer isk generation making the second or third account basically free. Passively with PI and skill farm you can get like 80% of the isk needed to plex. Having 2 accounts would be 1 account subbed every month free and the other you only need to get the last 40% of isk for plex. You can easily plex and account with PI and industry, and those are the true things you will want multiple accounts for, with reactions you can easily start making 3 to 4b a month per account as long as you have the startup funds, which easily allows you to expand to new accounts and make more isk. And all of this, you dont need an alt if you just want to pvp in nullsec or pve in highsec. Multiple accounts to be useful to the max is really reserved for few play styles like capital pilots, elite pvpers and industrial players.
I'm glad CCP has cut down on the automated botting, but UMAD is correct about multiboxing. Not everyone is able to, I get a migrain just thinking about PVP with 10 accounts but, if you have the brainstem for it the rewards are clear. It's also a nice chunk of CCP's sub income so I can't see it ever changing. Edit: If you feel disadvantaged by multiboxing, get in a Corp. If you don't or can't multibox find friends to be your F1 monkey for you! XD If you play solo - exclusively - Eve will wear you out 100%. Seriously, Eve forums and Reddit have adverts full of people who enjoy doing what you love (even if that is staring mindlessly at mining lasers going bbbrrrrrrr) most of them don't interrogate you, ask for your family internet history, any police records, or a Psych evaluation either. There's a niche for everyone which is why the game lasted 20 years. Play as a group, and if like me you have some introvert tendencies, then view it as a challenge to overcome and a learning experience that carries outside gaming!

Best way to beat bait is to bait the bait, because as bait you never expect to be against bait. It's even better when it's hot drop bait and you counter hot drop thier hot drop because thier bait attacked your bait and now your hot drop is on thier hot drop and it's a big cluster.
I’ve been trying to solo pvp. I’ve done fleets and it’s ok but I just got back on eve after a 7 year layoff. Yesterday I played about 7 hours. I went into every wormhole and even found a couple that were 1 jump away from Jita. You could count on one hand how many other players I found in those wormholes. In 7 hours I found only 3 potential targets. I use t3 cloaked cruisers. I’ve realized eve players are skittish. Like deer. Pve players are petrified to go anywhere. I haven’t jumped into nullsec yet because I don’t want to make the jumps. I was also in a null sec org 7 years ago and finding modules was a pain. Where the hell are the targets? I mostly do wormholes and low sec. Maybe I have to set a trap? Yesterday baffled me. Also I avoid nullsec mostly because I know any pvp there will be a group affair.
I routinely hunt in wormholes and it seems like you were unlucky - some days it just do be like this. It also helps to be in a corp in which if anyone finds a bigger target, we can all jump on it (WiNGSPAN is recruiting).
You have your ships, and each ship has a certain number of slots to put "upgrades/abilities" broken down into high slots, mid slots and low slots. High slots are for your guns and other offense items like energy draining and that. Mid slots are for shield modules and other utility modules that are activated. The low slots are for armor and hull modules, and utility that is passive instead of active normally. Then there are special slots called rig slots, they are upgrades that once you attach to a ship cannot be removed unless you want to just fully delete them and lost them. Also every ship gets a bonus to certain modules, and there are specific ships that are made for certain roles, but you technically can use every ship for every role if fit with the correct modules.
Ships aren't really upgraded, they're just outfitted. In EVE, you shouldn't get too attached to them - they will eventually explode. In the words of a wise man: "in EVE, ships are ammo and you are the gun".
Zkill needs to be abolished. this game is fun but its so toxic. Theyl message you email you ping you to let you know how sucky you are and laugh at your fittings.
