- We all know domestic cats don't really like water? But what about tigers, lions and leopards? ... We decided to give kid's pools to some of our cats to find out!

Actually, cats only do that because the water seriously bothers them. Most cats don't like water because they can't shake off as well as dogs can and the water makes their fur VERY heavy and makes them cold.

Right? People are acting like it was sheer aggression when it was clearly because he wanted the ball and was refusing to get wet. He even hissed at it. Really impressive (and adorable)! 😂😂😂

The most intelligent cat which didn't like the water but was interested in the ball was Ares the cougar who tried to empty the pool and get the ball without getting his paws wet. The clever cat worked it out.

Sure you can return the pool. Just tell them two big cougars came and dragged it away from you. Tell them how lucky that you just bought that pool, or that could have been you. Then show them the video and hopefully the manager will get a kick out of it and donate another pool. I know I would have. What is 20 bucks for a good cause.

Nirvana will be given more (deeper) water later. We started her out with just a little and will gradually increase the amount of water in the pool.

They act like giant house cats with the paw shaking from touching the water.XD The aversion some of them had was funny and reminiscent of my own cats! Nirvana is beautiful, though her aversion to entering the water for her toy and treat was the best part.

Big cats will always be the "if not friend, why fluffy" in my heart
well as we can see many of the cats do not like water. Sure there are a few types that do, but it does seem that cats and water do not go together well for the most part. Just the funny "ick my paws are wet" look on their faces lol. And of course the cougars who are more interested in the kiddie pool than the water.
