The most dramatic Mortal Kombat music I have ever listened. Best game in 2015 ever.
S a very cinematic theme. Armageddon and SM are more dramatic and energetic.

no, mkX in general is a darker game in terms of color palette, just note the colors of the dragons in the logos, with the 11 being golden, and this being a very predominant color in the game

Man Mortal Kombat X will always be my favorite mk game the music the fatalitys the characters the towers even though there the same like all of the mk towers the boss fight the story mode and the characters design are awsome scorpion like like a ninja subzero as well reptile and Ermak are cool they even brought some of the horror characters in the game how awsome is that this game will never get old for me

it’s been 5+ years already??!😭 i remember my daddy showing me, my brother and my nephews this while he had just gotten the Xbox one as it was new and we’d play in the towers or the campaign all the time. this game was so good!

Best modern Mortal Kombat for sure, love the edginess of the game, the fatalities were literal art instead of just senseless guts, and I love the variety the game has.

Because a lot of these character cards don't even really fit well with the new timeline.. and new people won't even know them.

This music in previous mortal kombat x dragged me into mortal kombat fandom, it gives me so much vibes of a fighting game plus with the blood and gore.. I missed the old mortal kombat in 2015 already:(
For as far as Mortal Kombat music goes, this is still an absolute gem of a track, which is peculiar because MKX really didn't have a memorable soundtrack. MKX might've been my favorite game in the franchise, though. Maybe there's an argument to be made for MK2, UMK3, Deception and MK9, but certainly in terms of 'new era' games, i.e. post MKvsDCU, it's probably the best Mortal Kombat game there is. I don't think it's the perfect MK game. A magnum opus type of Mortal Kombat game will most likely never be made anyway, but this music right here would certainly fit the kind of ideal MK game that exists only in my imagination. And that's saying a lot, because there are other tracks and musical pieces in other MK games that I think are excellent. The Elements of Water ambience from Mythologies, the MK4 character select theme, Deception's soundtrack, to name just a couple: in terms of musical productions, the franchise has an impressive resume.

Liu Kang has always been my favorite character and my main. Then I started dating this girl in college. Now we’re engaged. I’ve been getting her into video games, including Mortal Kombat. And wouldn’t ya know it, her favorite character ended up being Kitana. She decided she liked Kitana before she knew that she and Liu Kang had a thing. Pretty dope.

People really complain about how "dark" this game was? This game was exactly what Mortal Kombat is supposed to be. Not only should it be dark, it should be tragic, serious, gruesome, mysterious and ominous.
I'm not a fan of all the things that were introduced and changed in the newer games, and how Mortal Kombat has turned into a colorful fantasy kind of setting.
This game and MK9 were peak Mortal Kombat.
