Storyline: Based on the popular video game of the same name "Mortal Kombat" tells the story of an ancient tournament where the best of the best of different Realms fight each other. The goal - ten wins to be able to legally invade the losing Realm. Outworld has so far collected nine wins against Earthrealm, so it's up to Lord Rayden and his fighters to stop Outworld from reaching the final victory...

Reptile can go invisible, but Johnny Cage can vanish from an entire scene.
I love how for that entire fight Johnny Cage was probably just outside like, "Eh, Liu's fine, he's got this."

Reptile is the definition of “woke up and chose violence”
Reptile's aggression was just on another level. No exposition, no talking. The beat drops and he kicks you through a wall.
Imagine walking into an empty building and hearing a random voice saying "Reptile"
The new generation will never know how iconic the "Reptile" announcement is.
Damn Reptile came to life, didn’t monologue, didn’t ask any questions... just went straight to business.
I miss when Reptile was portrayed as a humanoid person and not just a big green monster.
The person in the production team that included the “Reptile,” name in the audio is a genius.
One of the most intense scenes in the movie. I always get goosebumps whenever I hear the announcer say "Reptile". Good old days.
Man this Liu Kang was absolutely crazy.
Can we appreciate the fact that out of every fight in this movie Reptile got the closest to putting one of the protagonists in a body bag? Dude put in fucking work

Reptile is a straight savage. He wakes up and dropkicks the first dude he sees through a brick wall. DAMN!
The way they announce “Reptile” was perfect.. Techno music, Iconic Mortal Kombat characters, and cool catch phrases! The video games laid the ingredients to make a great movie franchise and the new one blew it!
I’m 34 now and this fight scene is still mint. REPTILE 🗣️
This was always my favorite fight in the movie. The pumping soundtrack plus Reptile's sheer aggression plus the fantastic choreography all came together to create several minutes of pure adrenaline.
20+ years later the music and "Reptile" voice still give me goosebumps.
