He's fantastic. I wish he'd play 10% slower and twice as clean, though. Sometimes, it sounds like he's running ahead of what he's doing, and the difference between him and someone like johnny hiland is johnny never cheats a note out of what it could have been.
I don't know of any other guitarist that plays with anything close to his combination of deadpan humor and awe-inspiring virtuosity. He has become my favorite musician.
