I have only traveled Canada and the France island of St. Pierre. St. Pierre is a pretty isolated island away from France so I'd say there maybe? In smaller terms, my current town is the loneliest town I have been in. It's many hours away from a lot of creature comforts city folk enjoy. Any time the weather turns we could be trapped here for days. Our winters take most of our climate, and one year it got to -50C.
