is easy to invade but harder to conquer, I mean the country disappeared from maps for like 123 years and they willed themselves back onto world maps, they were invaded and occupied by germany and russia and still they persist, and since the sense of patriotism in poles is as strong, if not stronger than ever, I doubt anyone would be able to hold the country for long, if the UN or the US won't help, then you can be sure the poles will start crafting weapons in their sewers like in the old days, poland military may be weak yeah but they did hold westerplatte (like it's a peninsula near the ocean) by themselves until their resources ran out and had to give up, as many history books and wikipedia says
Despite initial assessment on both sides that the Polish garrison might hold out for several hours before being reinforced or overwhelmed, the Poles held out for seven days and repelled thirteen assaults that included dive-bomber attacks and naval shelling

The Dutch have a massive military presence as well as marine and AF bases on Curacao. The Netherlands would have no issue getting their military forces to Aruba in no time. BTW I still do enjoy your videos but... the following must be said:
I mean hold on... Previously you listed nato for Poland, but equally Aruba is protected by Nato as part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands which is also an EU member. Notable forces in the area would be permanent forces stationed on the island, ~800 soldiers on nearby dutch islands, French Guiana of the French, 2100 soldiers, and a bunch of UK protectorates. Even the initial invasion would be an uphill fight considering the forces of the Netherlands and later UK, France. And "in the long run" the United States, if they wouldn't immediately scramble some jets to support allies.
Due to that little mistake in research, I also noted that you said tuvalu has a gdp of 50 mil, (correct) and Elon musk ~297 billion (correct) but that's not 5x more that's literally 5000x more. Might want to double check your video's next time you upload them. Quite a few mistakes in this run...

    • @garion742

Definitely agree, and I'll tack on a nit pick. If you don't control finances, or more importantly foreign and defense policy you're a state, not a country. Food for thought:
As the neighbour island Curacao and Bonaire are also part of the Netherlands. That can see eachothers island during clear weather. They would be the first responders to help fight when an invading force enters there international waters. Eventhough our combined military force is quite small and could be defeated. Its more than a small police force that is mention in the video. We do have some costal defences, miltia and air force. So this force has to be atleast 100-150k strong to occupy all three island simultaneously. Why that large of a force? Because the population are not one to sit quietly so regular patrols and public disarment will be required.

The first question to ask when choosing a nation to invade is: WHY??? Do a cost / benefit analysis... does the benefit warrant the cost? Then compare this CBA to other countries and make a Top 10 list. While creating the CBA, it will be necessary to consider the consequences of invasion. It would probably be reasonably inexpensive to invade a friendly country, and the raw benefit may be quite considerable... but the fact this country will no longer be friendly has its own cost and will likely reduce the benefit.
