Dude...that is a great list! Never played Frankenstein but will try to track it down to play. As well, yes, I was one of those weird guys that actually enjoyed Simon's Quest but much for the same reason as you: never really played it long enough as a kid to get into the cryptic stuff. My buddy had it and I would play it a couple times when I slept over at his house. Great video; great list; keep up the good work entertaining all of us!
Great idea! Might take out a stack of games for the season myself. And... I've seen some footage from Beetlejuice live, but the camera wasn't pointed at the stage.
Beetle juice and the Adam's family 2 classics there mate And I'm definitely going to have to have myself some pumpkin beer this Halloween,, Fantastic video
You're at 601 nice. I always wanted to get Frankenstein, maybe one of this days. Simon's Quest and Jaws were my first two games for the Nintendo. They were Christmas gifts from my Aunt. I bought my copy of Nightmare on Elm Street for $5 at a game store when the PS2 was coming out. I like your choices. Cool video!
I know you don't like to look stuff up but I feel that it's fair to get a look at the manual as it would have come with the game. Especially for controls and powerups and other on screen icons. I also enjoyed Nightmare on elm street.
The Beetlejuice game is pretty good, I have a lot of fond memories from my childhood. Cheap deaths from BS spawning enemies are a staple of NES games. 🤣🤣🤣
Castlevania I gets more play from me because I speed run it a lot, but Simon's Quest is totally my favorite. Everyone loved that game back in the 80's, it was always high on the charts. Same goes for Zelda II, people started hating on it recently but these two were huge in their day. these giant open world platformers. The cryptic stuff is unfortunate, and something we had to deal with a lot in English speaking countries, but that's the fault of the translators (seriously who WERE these people?!) Castlevania: Simon's Redaction is an awesome hack that fixes all the bad translations, and it's probably in my top 5.
Great picks. Now I know you don't like looking things up, but what about just a scan of the manual from the game? That is something you could of had back in the day and that might help.
Nice selection of games for Halloween! It's cool to see your picks, and I have to say, I've got a soft spot for 'Werewolf' myself. Thanks for sharing your choices, and happy gaming this Halloween season!" 🎃🦇🎮
Good list, bro! Night on Elm Street is one of my favorite NES games ALLLLLL year round. What are the odds you got a game like Chiller for NES? That’s an absolutely awful game that’s prefect for the holiday 😂
I beat Castlevania II as a kid without any guides or help. Personally it's one of my favorite in the series because it set the stage for games like Symphony of The Night. Plus this is where the best Castlevania music got its start. So...you have never heard of anyone that has played A Nightmare on Elm Street with three other players before? I have and we beat it while it was still current. The game was decent for its time but I much prefer Friday The 13th for the Nes. We took turns and played the Hell out of Florida The 13th as well but never beat it. We came close a few times but it just didn't happen. Bonus- The reason the Nes game is called A Nightmare on Elm Street is because it is following the films titles. All of them are called "A Nightmare on Elm Street." For example the third and best movie in the series was called "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors."
Never played any of these and the only Adams Family game I've played is Uncle Fester's Quest, which I liked even though I never beat it. I have to wonder though, does TH-cam demonetize vids when they start with a bear promotion and drinking? lol
I to not looking things up. Do you allow yourself to look up the manual online? I know there are Nintendo games I would have been lost in if not for the manual. Happy Halloween!!!
Werewolf is more than NES tough. It’s a mother f@(&er! Never played Dracula or Frankenstein. Haven’t come across that either yet. Dude! I have to know how a procrastinator like you actually get this video out before Halloween?
New viewer: fun video until the profanity Doesn't totally ruin the experience (hardly the only game review channel with profanity), but it's a shame it popped up.

Some excellent choices!
Happy Halloween to you!
Just stopping by to see if uninvited is here

Good list! It’s always fun to play these games around this time of year.
I agree, Werewolf kinda sucks the big one. I’ve tried to put it in my Halloween rotation a few times and I just couldn’t deal with it
Great choices! Simon's Quest and a Nightmare on Elm St are two that I always come back to.
@@brianbabin6333 Those newer versions are great! There’s a really good one for Friday the 13th too

Nice Halloween list here; that Pugsley game though, oof, looks rough. Time to up that pumpkin beer to stomach that one. ha ha
Fun list, I have been enjoying the most scary game of all, Super Mario on the Wii!
Good list, bro! Night on Elm Street is one of my favorite NES games ALLLLLL year round.

The Pugsley game is a 8-bit port of the SNES Addams Family game (the first one, not the one with the same title).
Nice to see some different titles, i actually have werewolf i didnt know it was broken!
Nice picks Tony!
Nice Video, Back In The Gamer! Have you ever played Dr.Chaos? I got it from VGM but I haven't really got into it.
I've only "played" Castlevania 2 from the list. I tested it for a few minutes...

I think I'll beat Castlevania again on Halloween.

Ghost and Goblins is unforgiving
It says "Back in the Day Gamer" but it should say "Gen Z gamer" 😂
Instantly regretted clicking. Bye.
Who the heck is this guy
