Remember back in the day when you threw on your favorite rock band's T-shirt, grabbed your walkman & rode your BMX bike over to your friends house to play Nintendo in his parent's basement? Well I do! It was a much simpler time when the troubles of life were still years away. Well now your all grown up and the pressure of life's responsibilities (like bills, taxes, wife, kids, soul crushing job that drains the life out of you with every passing moment) may have pushed those fun car free days far from thought. Well those thoughts are what keep me calm and grounded in those grueling 12 hour work days. So join me on an 8 bit trip back to that musty basement couch in search of high scores & hidden treasures.

Beetle Juice was one of those games that is mote enjoyable the slower you take it. Pace every step, and babysit your health and the bug farming. It isn't really that hard other than the parts that have cheap deaths.
Exactly. But what fun is it to take things slow lol. Now that I've played it so many times I can get to the last stage without much trouble. The last board is cheap death city. I plowed through it by luck after only like 3 or 4 tries though.

It was def NO easy task but I didn't give up and took it down. Honestly I got pretty lucky on the last board. No final boss really bummed me out though.

Life has happened on this end as well and I am in motion to get back into recording. This game I honestly can say I have never played because of all the bad reviews it has gotten. I never really gave it a chance and I should know better because there are a ton of good/decent games out there that have been reviewed poorly but were never really given a chance. This game is great. LJN got a bad rep from the AVGN. But honestly that guy was a goof.
After you get into the groove it's fun. You never hear anything about it. I still did like the AVGN vid though. He makes some good points lol
