I don't deny the science of earthing/grounding. I am in the process of purchasing a mat and was wanting to purchase directly from the company but this definitely gives me second thoughts. If they are charging so much and don't stand behind their products further than 90days. It's a lot to shell out for a family with kids just to have them "go out" so quickly. Perhaps I am better off with a cheaper product which does the same thing. Especially with kids and pets. Thank you for sharing the information. My heart goes out to you for the recent difficult life experiences and issues, I do truly hope things get better.
I've been using an earthing mat on my bed for two years and it made a noticeable difference. I recently rearranged my room and plugged my ground cable into a power bar. The power bar tested ok with the device they give you so I thought all was good. After a day or two I developed a weird mild facial ache on my right side. I deal with sleep apnea and thought it was related to that. For whatever reason, a voice inside my head last night said to plug the ground wire directly into the ground of the electric socket. Within minutes my facial pain went away and completely gone the next morning. Thank you for posting this video. Based on my experience, it is important to plug the cable directly into the socket and not use any power bars even if the ground reader gives the ok signal. Oh, I am not in any way discrediting what you are sharing or disputing that it is malfunctioning, just sharing my experience with this device. It is quite concerning for me to think I could have or may have seriously harmed my health with this thing.
@@jaymartinez8231 My outlet reader told me that the electric socket was safely grounded when plugged into a power bar but I started experiencing physical discomfort which went away when I plugged it directly into the outlet. Use the adapter but be alert to any unusual effects.
That was caused by AC current (EMFs) coming though your cord imo.. AC is harmful.. You should use a multimeter to test AC current. It should be zero... and the way you are doing it now, it most like made AC zero... Also, you can test DC, the healthy grounding current, which we want.

Cheap [ virtually free !! ] reuse as grounding mats. Stainless steel trays [ approx. 16" x 28 " ] I scrounged from a restaurant recycle bin. Slight discoloration / rust at one corner indicate cheap Chinese products with very thin stainless coating. 1/4 inch rim great for attaching copper ground wire. I wonder what they cost brand new ? For a floor mat, use a side panel from an old steel computer tower case / cabinet, often seen tossed out by folks, when I go Saturday morning garage sailing.
Glad I watched this before purchasing. Thank you. Their mats are far too expensive for most people, and instructions on making a DIY version at a fraction of the cost are plenty here on youtube.

I hope they read this too! I absolutely won't be buying from them nor will anyone close to me that's for sure. Your continuous healing is in my thoughts and prayers.
Very odd that the other grounding mat stopped working. I do have to ask about the black grounding wire on the voltmeter. Is the black wire touching the other mat, or directing touching the grounding source? If the black wire of your voltmeter is only grounded to your first mat, you will not get a correct reading when you try your old mat. Just an observation. Can not really tell from the video where the black wire is grounded to.

I had the same mat for 3-4 years now and i do notice one side of the mat has lost its effects when iput my hand on the other side of the matt however it does remove much more. You probably damaged it with your chair or furniture overtime if its under your desk. Buy a new one, nothings built to last forever.
