Earthing Mat Review - BEWARE!
This is a review of the earthing mat from earthing.com. I had it under my keyboard for less than a year and discovered that the earthing mat was no longer working at all. There was no damage or reason for it to stop working.
I contacted customer support and they refused to send a replacement and only stated "that's why we offer the replacements mat for $30 on our website".
I am appalled that the mat would stop functioning for no known reason. I did test the mat right after installing it and maybe a month later again, so I know the mat wasn't defective from the beginning.
Earthing.com only offers a 90 day warranty per their customer service rep. HOWEVER there website states this on their terms and conditions page: "This site and the materials and products on this site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied." OMG are you kidding me?????
Also, they are in Southern California and so am I yet they charge $11 for shipping for the replacement mat.
If you do need to buy this mat as I did (It was recommended to me by my homeopathic doctor after being diagnosed with brain cancer) please test it regularly!

Thank you for sharing! This is an old video glad I found it. I didn’t realize there is no indication that it works or not unless you test it.

How is that grounding if you plug it in the an electric outlet? You'd be absorbing radiation more than anything wouldn't you? Just like when you use your phone while it's charging?

Thank you for sharing! But recently just bought a couple for my self, now I'm wondering there is a continualy tester that you need to buy to know if the there product is working now the problem if something goes wrong there no waray and that's riff off. They need to support the customers so that they are all happy. If that the case we'll then, you know the result.

Huge bummer since I really wanted one of these. What made you decide to test it? Just not feeling optimal? I was looking at Hooga too but something tells me they might not be any better on service. Gonna have to do some research before I buy anything. I've been looking at sheets, mats and even a yoga mat too.

black wire goes to a common ground as the mat's cord. If the cord is plugged in one of the outlet's ground, the black probe could go in the other since they are shared

i just made the mistake of purchasing a mat set from ultimate longevity and they have NO service and are rude....my pillowcase is making electric sounds and they are selling people these who put their HEADS on them and they can't address the problem, don't return calls and dont provide ANY accurate way to test these. this is the problem with these mats and cases...there's NO WAY to know if they are working easily then it requires additional investments to get volt checkers and all this crap and i'm a woman who doesn't know how to do this anyway. i would not advise anyone purchase these - there's no light indicator on them, and NO way to know if it's working, malfunctioning or worse - causing damage from some sort of leak. NO ONE can answer me why i'm hearing these slight electric noises..all they tell me is i should not hear them. Now I dont know what to do. I won't use the pillowcase but I am unsure about the mat and ive heard some horror stories as for heart troubles when these aren't functioning properly. they give you the total run around about the grounding quality around your home then blame it on something that can't be proven.....the kit included an outlet checker that signaled that my outlet was FINE AND CHECKED OUT yet they tell me that's not the only thing i need working for safety reasons..makes NO sense. i wasted over $500 for a set and they REFUSE to connect me to a product specialist telling me they are busy with "scheduled appointments" with their "paying customers." i told them I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER....I ALREADY BROUGHT THE ITEMS and the response is that their other customers pay them hundreds a month...cancer patients. i feel sorry for these people because they are WASTING their money. BAD COMPANY. They haven't called me back either. AVOID THEM TOO. ULTIMATE LONGEVITY.

I'm sorry for your struggling with brain cancer...I couldn't imagine the courage you have to fight. I lost my auntie last may due to primary brain cancer... With this said, I suffer really badly from migraines and have virtually no health care. Trying to take steps to try and heal myself. Do you think I should invest in a mat ? Have you had a good experience outside of this ? Is there a specific brand you can suggest ? I greatly appreciate your time. 🌞

For migraines try migraclear ultra or something similar. Depends on the cause but for many it helps a lot. It’s the only thing that works for me. Have to take consistently tho which is annoying but still better than western meds which don’t work for me.

I don't deny the science of earthing/grounding. I am in the process of purchasing a mat and was wanting to purchase directly from the company but this definitely gives me second thoughts. If they are charging so much and don't stand behind their products further than 90days. It's a lot to shell out for a family with kids just to have them "go out" so quickly. Perhaps I am better off with a cheaper product which does the same thing. Especially with kids and pets. Thank you for sharing the information. My heart goes out to you for the recent difficult life experiences and issues, I do truly hope things get better.

these matts are a scam, reducing static charge is good, but being permanently plugged into the electrical grounding system is a terrible idea and increases exposure to emfs. easy to test with an am radio held near the matt. stay safe

what if you use a grounding rod?

    • @jamestry
      @jamestry 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. If you have access to a ground rod in a location with NO excess ground current then that's possibly a safe way to ground, 2. You must insure that your connection to the ground rod doesn't pass close to any house wiring as inductive coupling can and will put significant low frequency currents on to the ground system. 3. DO NOT under any circumstances just plug yourself straight into your houses electrical grounding system, I've found up to half an amp of stray current on some grounded appliances in my home (bath and sink!) 4. BUY A VOLTMETER. the only way to insure your ground network is safe is to measure it. There are many ways to do this but by far the easiest and most quantifiable is by using a voltmeter. Any value over a maximum of a few (0-2) milliamps is too far too high and will put undue stress on your physiology. p.s grounding in an environment with high emf's is counter productive and will lead to an increase to electromagnetically induced currents IN your body. Yshield and Geovital both sell excellent shielding paints or you can make your own with graphite powder. And it goes without saying that you should minimize your proximity to electrical items when you sleep. AND NO MORE PHONE CALLS. Any questions or concerned parents can message me here or pm me as I know for an outsider the whole grounding/electromagnetic radiation thing can seem new and scary and is often portrayed is 'conspiratorial' and 'paranoid'. It's not, nobody is out to get you and curiosity regarding OUR environment is a healthy behavior. I wish you and all the readers the best of health and happy vibes. peace and love

They're using that horrible fake leather in alot of these mats. That meterial isn't conductive. I didn't even have my mat 3 months and it fell apart, the wires weren't even conductive and neither was the matt... So I made my own because I am NOT buying another pvc fake leather one. Mine wasn't from the same company as yours but it goes to show, they are just another money grabbing company preying on people who just want to feel better.
