There are several factors in cures for anxiety. One resource I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Aghy magic method (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most helpful resource that I've heard of. Check out all the extraordinary information .

Don’t be disheartened with a minor setback... remember your progress.. don’t fear future panic attacks or anxiety because you’re just giving it power and giving it your focus.. let it be there, pay it no mind, carry on with your day, your life.. remember to breathe, slow deep breathes.. you will be ok.

Problem is most people who suffer an anxiety attack really think they actually are in real danger, for a heart attack or a stroke. Just because there isn’t anything scary going on around you doesn’t mean scary shit is happening inside your body.

Panic attacks are just bad. Very very bad. I can be sitting in a chair and be suddenly in a grip of fear, utter fear. Being concious of this feeling is the key. Acknowledge and recognize what I am feeling. And then I found holding something helps. A chair, a table, a wall .. anything. Makes you feel safer and grounds your mind.

I've had anxiety and panic attacks and depression ever since I was young. I do understand being in a situation I've been in before with the panic attacks and dealingwith that situation again. The hard thing is dealing with what feels physical, like heart attacks, stroke or just dropping dead on the spot. Almost always I can't pin point what the trigger is. After months of dealing with one symptom its like it goes away and then I'm dealing with other new symptoms like maybe I'm throwing up all the time for a few weeks or I can't see properly. I find things that help me but they don't last. Be it diet or exercise, or even changing the way I think and interact.

@@arjunmrao4039 Wow thank you, it is amazing that you feel better now. About ERP... as you know, there are different stages of anxiety and panic. My problem is that when I experience a panic attack, usually it is so bad that my brain is frozen. It was so bad that I wanted to kill myself in order to "make it go away". I did not want to die, but I wanted for the pain to stop. I can't talk to myself or even pay attention to anything, I do not hear anyone, I do not feel anything except for my own stroke-like symptoms. In that stage, at the peak of panic, I am not able to expose myself or to think that I am strong. I usually do not experience panic attacks out of blue, or if I do, they are mild and I realise in a matter of few seconds what triggered them and instantly calm myself. But when my brain does not work I experience those intense and long panic attakes (the longest panic attack lasted for 12 hours and I ended up in ER). Those are problematic and I don't know how to deal with. And so, I just take a pill (or not, it depends) and wait for it to pass, cause this I know, that will pass.

I totally hear you, but I believe that this is the exact challenge. It's very hard to calm down when you think you're going to die, but with practice it becomes easier. Fighting only makes it worse. You have to be able to remain calm and not really give a shit when it comes. It's hard, but I really think it is possible.

I watched this video, as I had panic attacks and anxiety, thought maybe I will find more info, but I just confirmed my way of dealing with my panic attacks. At the beginning of my panic attacks, I was unable to control myself or think straight at all and it felt like I was only led by emotions that were bubbling, then after a while, I learned how to soothe myself and to actually talk to myself is there that imminent danger or is it all just in my head, and noticed how my panic and anxiety attacks when from daily to every other day, once every few days, then once every few weeks and so on. So this video was a good reminder of me being on the right track. Hopefully, it will help others who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. Just please note it probably will not have the instant effect (you do it once and you never have anxiety or a panic attack), you will need to work on it, to finally tame your amygdala.
    Thank you for the video!

What I have understood so far is panic attacks are not a fully psychological problem it's also a gut health problem I know it may sound weird but I feel its true. If you have panic attacks really often then mental therapy is ok but you should find out the root cause behind it. In my case it's the gut anxiety problem My lack of proper diet and exercise, skipping meals and lifestyle etc. Right now I m on prebiotic and probiotic diet and it has helped me a lot. I still haven't recovered I think it will take time..

I had allergies for years no dr diagnosed me. I had to bring it up. After 6 sinus infections in a row the dr finally said yes you have allergies. I went home and had positional vertigo for about 3 weeks. Now when I get allergy attacks and sinus infections I’m terrified I will get vertigo again. I panic at being dizzy in he slightest bit.
Pretty much everything in my life I had to figure out first then get a dr to confirm. I had a uti for over a year and half drs couldn’t figure it out. So any ailment that I have in my body I panic that it’s actualky something wrong with me that drs will not diagnose for me.
Right now I struggle with feeling nauseous to the point of dry heaving. It’s always taking my kids to school because I get stuck in traffic and I’m far from a toilet plus I hate throwing up. I learned that I have pmdd. Anxiety that comes around the time of my period. It sucks and so far the only way I can control it is by Kratom during those days.

Hallo Landgenoot! I'm writing to you from Texas where I've been living for several years. I just bought one of your books and when I saw your name, I thought this guy is either from Belgium or Holland. So, you're from Brussel. I was born and raised in Belgium. I've had problems with panic attacks and phobias off and on over the years and tried multiple things to get relief. It seems when I'm in stressful times it gets worse. I'm going to read your book and see your take on all this. Hope you'll be able to change things! One of my big phobias is flying and living so far from my family that's a big problem. If you can help me change this, I'll treat you to dinner when I can go visit home again!

I still remember the day when I got panic attack. I was sleeping and my body suddenly move by itself (but I was conscious at the time). My hands was moving. First I ignored it and go to sleep but it happens again. My head move by itself. I can feel I was smiling (kind of. I dont know if I was smiling or not). It's crazy. I wake up my sister then I can go to sleep well after that. I remember the doctor said that I was stressed, but i dont feel so. And my psychologist said I might have anxieties (or maybe depression. But i said to her I don't think i want to die, otherwise I'm afraid I'm going to die or going crazy). It's really bad. Though the panic attack is gone but I still sometimes feels something wrong in my body (idk how to explain it well), it sometimes makes me wake up several times when i really want to get a sleep. I want to cry and pray everyday so it'll gone forever and I'll forget this! Cuz it feels like a nightmare. I miss the "old" me. The old me w/o feeling anxiety (or whatever). Not really sure if I have anxiety. Sometimes I think that maybe i just hv a neurological disease. And wish that it just my feeling. But no. It's real :'((((. So what about you?
