Thanks for the heads up Gary. I used your link to acquire the K2 Katy ambulance. The only kit permitted by my beloved to break the current stash embargo. 😅🎉
Gahh, I've just had an Airfix delivery today, and now the Sea Fury is on offer. I've made it in FAA colours but that blue scheme looks gooooood. So tempted!
So much temptation, and I already have enough kits in my stash to last for ages. The Xtradecals for my Tiger Moth kits duly arrived today and offer the opportunity for plenty of alternative colour schemes instead of the Tiger Moth Club version provided for in the Starter kit. Best wishes.
Got to agree. Looking at the Airfix website, my gut reaction to many of these offers is "your normal price is WHAT?". 12 quid for their abysmal 1/72 Bf109G-6 that replicates an inaccuracy originally perpetrated in their 60 year-old relic, and there was no excuse for it in 1965. Then there's the dross that they can obviously barely give away, like the "Joseph Stalin JS3 Russian Tank" which Airfix Magazine acknowledged as grossly inaccurate back in 1969 when I was in infants' school (I'm now a grey-haired retiree). No, ta.
How does a kid with pocket money afford to start modelling? I started in 1961 with 2/- Airfix and 2/11d Revell or series 2 Airfix 3/- For 1/48 it was Monogram!
Probably pop auction sites because I don't know that anyone has made any for years. The Chi-ha for example, don't think anyone has made it for 40 years or more.
If i did 1/72 scale I'd have jumped on everything by now regardless of whether or not it was my area of interest. Absolute no brainer deals. Not surprisingly, some are sold out already.
Can't believe in this day and age that airfix is incapable of even telling you what is in a kit, A50157A D-Day Air Assault Gift Set. As they can't get that right why should I believe they got the models right. Its not rocket science to actually state what the product is ffs.
Thanks for the heads up Gary. I've just ordered a Christmas jumper and some RAF Personal.
Seafire & Sea Fury ordered through your link. I was hoping those two would be reduced.

Thanks for that Gary and just ordered a wonderful 1/48 F-86 via your link.👍
Both the K2 and the 30cwt is so tempting...

Ha ha ha, same here!
My box of goodies arrived today, and now I'm gonna have to go and order the Seafire. 👍

Brilliant, such a lovely plane the Tiger Moth!
My stash is too big as it is now! I’d love to buy more, but groceries and bills come first.
The Vulcan is out of stock so set up an alert on their website
prices a lot more realistic and what they should be in the 1st place instead of getting ripped off.

Those are very good reductions👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
When I was buying top notch kits in the 80's - 90's, I could afford most kits.......NOT ANY MORE!!! What is the 'EXCUSE' for modern hyper-prices?
I had ordered both the Harriers but delayed the purchase and missed the Vulcan Black Buck which is now out of stock, no surprise🤦♂️
