I know I am 2yrs later but you won this challenge Kevin. I love how you thought of everything a person would need to be off grid and comfortable in the woods.
This book th-cam.com/users/postUgkxT9ExVpR-3A-9rpRqx8vzXKZ3BMMTg_KH does have a lot of great information on the building of sheds, design ideas, building options, etc. The author goes through the steps to build a foundation, framing, roof, even ideas on internal storage and external finishes. The text is easy to follow and understand. There are many sidebars that give tips and advice which most laymen probably wouldn't have considered. The photographs are great quality too. This is a great book and I'd recommend it highly for anyone needing or interested in building a shed.
That is for sure a GIANT CANADIAN LANDSLIDE LOL LMAO. but must say you starting to get all bases covered. But what food store-age EG; 12 volt freezer, 12volt fridge just some more ideas. some place to carry dishes and silver wares. forgot beer also ;-)
I watched Zack's part 2 and I was pretty excited to see that he addressed some weatherproofing issues, but in the end, I still feel like you won. Yours is more versatile and practical. His has the really cool, huge bed/lounge and the video/video game setup, but for me that's not important. Yours takes the cake with running water and a portopooper. I thoroughly enjoyed both of your builds, but hands down, you're definitely the winner
The best camper is the one that gets you out of the daily grind, especially in this pandemic locked up world! I enjoy all your guy's channels (Kevin, Chris, Zack, Greg). Watching from Oregon, USA!
Both yours and Zach's were built with heart, obviously to be enjoyed by loved ones. Thanks for ALL the creative and wonderful ideas. Not gonna choose a winner. 🥰
You might want to consider getting a door mat that can double as a shower mat. That way you don’t get muddy while you are showering. These additions seem really solid though. Great work as per usual.
@@myfavs253 I was thinking one of those heavy duty recycled tire style mats. Those things are pretty tough and would last a long time in those conditions.
So cool you actually made all the complaints, or suggestions, everyone had come to life. Love how you did the shower. The enclosure is so unique. Don did awesome on the screens. I knew when you first built it that all you had to do is put another cushion on the other side and someone else could go along with you. Everything is totally awesome.
A nice “throne” can be made from a folding lawn chair. Remove the ribbons from the seat, and fasten on a piece of plywood in their place. A hole in the plywood, and a toilet seat facilitates the “sitting and thinking” part. Place your lined 5 gallon pail under the chair. A roll of TP in a coffee can completes the outfit. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying.
Somebody makes a toilet seat that attaches to a bumper that folds up and out of the way for storage. He could attach one of those to the outside of this micro rv and you could sit a 5 gallon bucket underneath it.

It’s been a challenging and busy week for me with the start of the school year right around the corner. Thank you Kevin and Don for today’s awesome video! I appreciate the message of self-reliance having the ability to create awesome quality items without busting the budget. Thanks Boys!!!!

Nice additions to the glamper! Just a friendly suggestion on the coil cause I use one to heat my pool. If you box it in an add a piece of Plexiglas on top it all get hotter even with low sunlight. Great build man!
Carbon monoxide detector goes down somewhere. And smoke detector goes up. Is like dirt cheap investment that potentially can save your life. Keep up the good work, looks amazing. Best youtuber ever to get inspiration from 😎
according to the EPA: Because carbon monoxide is slightly lighter than air and also because it may be found with warm, rising air, detectors should be placed on a wall about 5 feet above the floor. The detector may be placed on the ceiling. Do not place the detector right next to or over a fireplace or flame-producing appliance
I stand corrected 😁 I just saw many videos on camping with small space enclosures that usually place one smoke detector on the ceiling and the CO detector on the floor ( f ex Buddy heater stoves that have a CO system detection buily into it) and that is why I have suggested the same 😊
@@razvantraian5003 Same here. Now looking at all the recommendations and seems like the consensus is that it goes where the air goes. I guess in the past the recommended placement was different.

I built a teardrop camper in 2015. Pulled it from Wisconsin (saw the Grand Canyon and much of the states camping out of it) to California and back. I love it. But you have certainly set the bar for home built campers. I absolutely LOVE this glamper. Fowler is the man. Love him and his videos, but you Sir undoubtably know how it’s done and have proved it! As your build 'fleshed out', I was more and more reminded of Depression Era newsreels showing 'Okies' traveling to California with all sorts of things hung or lashed on an old vehicle. It isn't 'Glamperous' but it seems to be functional and efficient.
You have thought of everything. Zac's is good for maybe a night or 2 but yours would last the distance on a longer term Glamping adventure. I really like how you can just step into and walk around in it and it is so multi purpose. In my book you win for sure. I really like your jokes also.

Hey Kevin. Suggestion, since you are rolling up the curtains they start to roll up on the ends and not sitting flush so use velcro strip to keep it tight against to window frame. One other thing. Your CO2 detector should not be placed higher than 5ft off the floor. Love your channel
I see two things that you may want to address. The TV next to wood stove. You should put a heat protect separator between stove and tv. Also you may want to make two poles with tie downs for the front of awning. Wind will whip the awning quite a bit. Otherwise it looks great. God Bless

Even that wood cutter tool is out of sight! Love the wood stove!
Definitely the best micro camper out there. Great work Kevin and Don.
Yours Is the best by far! Love the fan, screens, shower, solar power and heat, and of course, the kitchen sink. Nice indoor space, well lit and some security and stability- woot! 😎
The battery jump starter is amazing, glad you have some things to help you in whatever scenario you may find yourself in.. God bless!
you win the contest for the clamper hands down great space
love the glamper evolution definitely a winner in my book my main reason is yours is actually insolated and in our climate that's a must
Both are very nice campers. I like yours because of repurposing materials. Both are fine examples of workmanship but I vote for your camper as the winner.
Delight! Your the Shakespeare of precision / inventive carpentry, the David Cooperfield of mystifying multi-purposing and the CS Lewis of understated unassuming humour! In a word, delightful! I'm sure there's a more masculine word form which expresses my sentiments but off the top of my head, there you have it! Thanks for this! Love it!
Wow! I might have to put that on my wall!
@@ModernSelfReliance YES! That's probably a good idea, b/c life, real day to day life, has a way of kicking the "S" (the first "S" you talked about), out of us! And we need to remember that we are valuable and loved, even when we mess up!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL JOB!! ZACK BETTER SPEND A BUNCH TO CATCH UP!! GOD BLESS ALL
You win hands down! You can actually stay in that glamper year round. Great build and fun videos.
the shower is a great touch, the screens and fan I mentioned in the first video are now installed the portapotty the sink and the roll out awning with running hot and cold water makes you the clear Glamper winner over Zack's rig you have done a great job Kevin kudos to you. You might want to mass produce these and sell them.
Outstanding, so clever, the definite winner and I agree by a landslide. Zack bring your slingshot and come bow down to this clamping god.
love the way you find solutions that are brilliantly simple, you win
Need to do a glamping collab and just get a bunch of homemade campers out on a trip. That would be fun to watch.
Gotta love Zack’s effort, but you win hands down
Hands down...you win, Kev and Don!!!
You’ve got everything, including the kitchen sink 😉
Yours wins by a landslide, great job!!!
