I worked my way up to this one starting with the tinker and then the climber, then the ranger and now this guy! Why not carry the one that has all the tools?
I'd always thought this would be a problem to carry but then before buying it I replicated it's size by putting my Climber and Hiker together in my 5th pocket - it's pretty much the same thickness - and they fitted fine so I went on to buy the Champ, and carry it there no problem.
Like it? Love it! In fact, I own 3 Swiss Champs: red, silver, and recently got a new black model. The red one I have owned for nearly 30 years, is still in good shape although the toothpick, tweezers, springs for pliers and scissors were replaced at various times. It has literally traveled the world 🌎 with me. I will say the silver Swiss Champ doesn’t have the pressurized ball point pen 🖊so this an interesting variation in a cool color.
Great Vid! I've got several Swiss Champs and love em! I travel or go camping without bringing one of my Swiss Champs (amongst other knives, tools, etc.)! The Magnifier is perfect to view splinter, thorn, or glass shard! Just lay the opposite side scale of the Swiss Champ and the subject is perfectly distanced. Use the always protected tweezers which have outstanding grabber edges. The Fish Scaler also works great to open letters, envelopes, etc! Corkscrew also works great to remove Staples, and loosen knots, untie laces, etc.

I work as an aircraft mechanic and it's great for reading electric wire numbers or some of the part numbers stamped on components that are small. I have a regular magnifying glass in my tool box but that means stopping and crawling out of whatever space I'm in to go get it from the tool box.
