What if everyone was in bed and parents had no reason to think the child let herself out ? If she’s smart enough to go shopping with money she’s smart enough to open the front door. don’t know enough facts to make such drastic judgments. Everyone so quick to judge these days.
@@helenclayton8259 even if that was the case, it still doesn't excuse the parent so what attitude. Do you seriously see nothing wrong or suspicious with the parent blase reaction?
It happens so easily. I was around 5 or 6 when I got up and left the house for no discernable reason. I had no plan like this sweet baby. I was very lucky a good man found me and took me to the police. ( small town in the 80s) His options were limited. My parents had no idea. They were asleep and all the doors and windows were locked. Thank goodness this little girl was saved by a good man too.
Oh this is horrific. Thankfully this child was smart enough to go to a store and not wander around, get lost and freeze to death. My goodness.. These parents to be so chill about it most certainly need a investigation. I can certainly see this happening to any family but I know I myself would've been so highly scared, upset, crying, shaking if that were my toddler. I'd of been thanking the good lord that child ended up in the police station and not frozen in a ditch or woods.
Dee Dee Price 420 oh no I certainly understand how this could happen. I myself have an extremely crazy toddler.. He's 4 now. But he's very... Uhmm... Unique lol. He's unlike any other child I've ever seen. Just so.. Crazy. My oldest is a literal angel.. And youngest the opposite!! Anyways luckily this hasn't ever happened to me but they have their own minds, we certainly can't mind control them. We can't physically watch them 24 hours a day. We still have to cook, clean, eat ourselves, shower, take care of other kids and heaven forbid we need to sleep a few hours lol! Thankfully you caught your daughter before She got far!! My mother in law told me a story of how my husband got lost on the beach when he was 5. I would've freaked OUT BAD! He just walked off she said with about 20 adults out there with him! As moms, we do our very best in each moment and that's all we can do. I guess my complaint here was it was freezing cold outside and she walked across the street and her mother didn't seem concerned at all. And it probably happened before bc that girl knew to dress herself. Mom should've been more thankful and made sure to explain she will be putting chain locks at the top of her doors.
Inside the news building: Hmm, we need to make this script more interesting, how about we call this a busy road, when only 2 cars go by every hour. Why? Because logic!
I’m glad the little girl was okay!! me and my brother walked to the corner store when we was 3 & 2. Our babysitter fell asleep and we was in our car seats, we broke out and went to the store. A family friend was at the store and brought us back home we wasn’t in trouble but the person who left the door unlocked was. - Summer 2001
I'm not gonna hate.sometimes the parents have nothing to do with it . They set the kid to sleep, they go to sleep, kid wakes up, feels like candy, gets dressed , goes to store, all hell breaks lose. Nothing to do with the parent being irresponsible . Just shit that happens. There's no report on the parent being drunk or high, or both.
+Mugiwara98 ... Parents have to sleep, too. Maybe what the parents said shows less appreciation of the gravity of the situation but, it is just as likely they felt a mix of emotions from relief to shame. Look how harsh some of the critical comments have been here based on a snippet of information and a few seconds of video. Maybe they were saving face.
Lenny, yes your right kids can do all sorts of things. However with the parents turning up at the police station saying "so what" is a little pathetic...If it were me I would have been freaked out. It is cute how the girl had the presence of mind to get so well dressed and take two pennies to buy some candy. How cute.
+Lenny Prosado I agree with you, you cant just claim parents are irresponsible in the middle of the night, because like you say, you put the kids to bed, lock the windows and doors and go to sleep. People have to sleep. Your kids even at two know they are not supposed to do certain things, and is likely why she cried when she realised she would have to face her parents. Children are smarter than people think. And unless every parent stays awake all night, this could be you!I was doing a party once, and one kid let themselves out the house, and no adults noticed, because all the children were related. Luckily he was picked up walking up the road, but there is nothing you can do about children curiosity, accept try and keep on top. It isn't going to happen though all the time. The child who did this, never even attempted to open a door prior by himself, but for some reason, climbed unlocked and went about his business this one time. Maybe its part of the development of theory of mind, meaning children go through stages where they want to act on the fact they realise they are separate psychological beings from other people. Maybe it helps to develop that thinking skill, they start to acquire and somewhat get by age 4. I don't even know if I believe they said 'who cares', that sound like someone's opinion.
+eAshy Cindar You would say "so what" if your TWO FUCKING YEAR OLD daughter crossed the street and went to a gas station at 11 PM, shitheads like you should never become a parent. Don't reproduce.
Extremely. She knew want she wanted, went exactly where she meant to go, got what she wanted AND tried to pay for it. And, she did it by herself without anyone supervising or helping. She probably would have gone straight back home too.
Awww she is too cute. But her parents need more than a warning. Their personality of being chill about the situation could end up with her being taken from their custody or worse....she could be dead next time.
i get that it’s easy to see the “cute” in this video, but the fact the she wasn’t kidnapped, hurt, or killed is a miracle. this very easily could have ended up as “2 year old is tragically killed after leaving house in the middle of the night”. I hope she was taken from her family and put with a family that will actually love and look after her…
The parents could have put to her to bed and was getting ready for bed themselves. Why should a child be taken away from their parents when the parents were pretty much oblivious to how independent their child is?
There is nothing cute about it. That baby is ABUSED AND NEGLECTED, period. Anyone who thinks that’s cute should be shot along with her poor, ghetto, disgusting, and nasty excuses for “caretakers”.

People who want to harm kids rarely come upon a child like that. They hunt the child generally.

As cute and adorable she is, she is very lucky to be okay with the night so dark and bad things could’ve been happen. I’m so happy she is okay!
Some children are born independent, confident, fearless, and with the intelligence to put it all together.
all children are born fearless ... this little baby became "independent" because no one at her home gave a Damn!
They did not care about her at all.

Bruh. That girl crossed the street at 11pm and her parents was just like: 'So what.'
How dare they.
What if everyone was in bed and parents had no reason to think the child let herself out ? If she’s smart enough to go shopping with money she’s smart enough to open the front door. don’t know enough facts to make such drastic judgments. Everyone so quick to judge these days.

yeshua is like three that all
It happens so easily.
She is very smart...atleast she paid her money....with 2 pennies lol #Godblessher

Dijon Conyers Awww❤️
L Bo she wasn’t scared she just wanted skittles and soda
Damn thats tuff
L Bo I mean at 11 pm most parents would expect there kids to be sleeping.
But she followed the ckerk throw the back of the store with no thinking, still dangerous. :l

Inside the news building: Hmm, we need to make this script more interesting, how about we call this a busy road, when only 2 cars go by every hour. Why? Because logic!
😂😂😂 Shoot I can even send my dog and turtle to the store.

I’m glad the little girl was okay!! me and my brother walked to the corner store when we was 3 & 2. Our babysitter fell asleep and we was in our car seats, we broke out and went to the store.
+Lenny Prosado but the point is the parents didn't care. "they were like 'so what?'"
This is an intelligent baby
Monetized
Extremely. She knew want she wanted, went exactly where she meant to go, got what she wanted AND tried to pay for it. And, she did it by herself without anyone supervising or helping. She probably would have gone straight back home too.
@b18 dc2r Absolutely. It isn't normal and she shouldnt really have the nerve to do that much alone. Definitely neglect.
And a very brave one, too.
She's more smarter than me ;-;
I'm sure her parents love her, but that is no way to react to your child walking at night alone, and without your permission.
Awww she is too cute. But her parents need more than a warning. Their personality of being chill about the situation could end up with her being taken from their custody or worse....she could be dead next time.
barbaro267 agreed I would've came in apologetic and hugging my kid and promise to keep all doors lock and make sure she sleeps first
Whyyy
barbaro267 i know rite
Oh hell no #growinupblack her moma and dad probly beat the brakes off her ass
barbaro267 you can't even see her face
i get that it’s easy to see the “cute” in this video, but the fact the she wasn’t kidnapped, hurt, or killed is a miracle. this very easily could have ended up as “2 year old is tragically killed after leaving house in the middle of the night”. I hope she was taken from her family and put with a family that will actually love and look after her…
The parents could have put to her to bed and was getting ready for bed themselves. Why should a child be taken away from their parents when the parents were pretty much oblivious to how independent their child is?
Thank God she crossed the street at the right time as well!! SMH
There is nothing cute about it. That baby is ABUSED AND NEGLECTED, period. Anyone who thinks that’s cute should be shot along with her poor, ghetto, disgusting, and nasty excuses for “caretakers”.
My Sister spanked, (whooped) her little 3 year old after she wandered off into a neighborhood alone with a bunch of adolescents and teens. No one knew where she was. She wandered off from a church where my Sister and her church members were neglecting to watch her. And my Sister calls me the one with the problems.
Watching this video made me feel very nervous. The parents needed more than just scolding.
