Bought the USA version a month or so back. Such an amazing bass. The tone options are all very usable, and live it sounds awesome. Sits in the mix perfectly. Fav setting - both pick ups, series, active. Sounds huge. Totally drives the band. Leo Fenders finest work.
To me, this has to be the best looking L2500 series to date. The others just appear to be bland. This Redburst actually has some appeal. They all sound good, and have good action/feel for a midrange instrument.
Hey there, We haven't done a review on a 1500 yet, but I'll put the word in, and hopefully we can get one out for you soon. Be sure to subscribe to our channel and you can get notifications of our new videos that way. Thanks for watching! -Zach
I bought a L2500 usa. Whenever I switch to active or active treble boost, there is always a distortion hessing sound. Is this common or should I send for repair? I believe it's not the strong output cos I tried even with powerful amps and I even lower the volume output. Pls help!
+Sunny Lai Hi Sunny, I had the same problem (hissing) with my 2500. I had a local luthier put a copper shielding in the control cavity; that muffled almost all the hiss. I have to say that the lack of shielding inside the control cavity and not having a flip-top battery compartment are two negatives on this otherwise beautiful instrument. Cheers
Hi Sunny, it's not actually repairing that is needed. As I said before, the control cavity is not shielded and the pickups are high output, so the hiss is a "normal" consecuence. I'd say just get a luthier to put a shield in the control cavity and I can garanty you 98% of the hiss will dissapear. Good luck
Open your fingers on your fretting hand a bit more. I notice you play with your fingers together, it looks like they’re glued together. It makes you sound sloppy. I’m not dogging the player, it’s just constructive criticism from a bass instructor. I like your riffs, though.
Sorry but that demo was not good--I only watched the demo with the guy in the stocking hat, He did not dig into that bass and really did no good at showing what that bass sounds like--next time call me and I'll show you how to do it.
Hey, would've been good to mention the different toggle switch selections to know how you were getting the different tones.

That bass blows most of the basses today away. What a great Tone!
+Wall OfNoise It's like pugging into two different amps. Although it takes a little time getting use to.
Just picked up the American made pearl gray version of this bass. Incredible instrument.

Nice to go throw the modes in some systematic way. Otherwise, what are we seeing in the “demo”?
Do you ship worldwide?
Beautiful basses. They sound fantastic. Prefer over the M-2500.
Well wth? I though he was going to go through all the switch combinations and play so you could hear all the tones
I have a G&L L1500. Have you done a review on this model? I cannot get the tone I want from it.

active /passive? without a battery? how do that work?
It uses an 9 volt battery. It's kept inside the control cavity.
@@daitos1955 I believe it’s 18v bro
@@johnthibodeaux5189 Mine's a single 9v and it lasts for a long time.

what is the weight in pounds or kilograms of this instrument
14lb. is what I read.
Depends on wood it’s made of. With pine body it is 9 lbs
Depends on wood, but mines about 10.5 lbs.
Title says L2500 but description says M2500...
