Good to see your channel active again - always appreciate your perspective. Of course no country on earth is perfect, and Colombia certainly has its share of issues. I've been living here full-time more than three years now, and a key to longevity is accepting things as they are and learning how to adapt. A key point you made is to be as self-sufficient as possible, as an over-reliance on others here can be inefficient and sometimes even dangerous. Also maintaining a low profile and "security first" attitude at all times is super important for long-term survival.

I try to be open-minded but I found that the food flat-out sucks, 90% of the meals I ate were terrible. I went twice recently under the guise of medical tourism but really was hoping the cam girls I 'scored' with were gonna send me to the moon. No dice. I was too old for them and there was little chemistry. But gosh, they saw and heard me on Whatsapp and in photos so of course I was surprised by how tepid they were by day two. I got a bacterial infection there is late March, third day of trip, and still fighting it now, almost a month later. The Internet usually does not work in your hotel room, making the country a no-go.

Great stuff as always. Don't trust the TH-camrs that make it sound like everything about Colombia is paradise. Also don't listen to people who are overly negative. We always have to take the bad with the good. And there's a lot of good.
Ezrato, I'd love to see some videos outside or 'on location', but I'll keep watching either way. Thanks!

Thanks! I'm not in Colombia at the moment, but will try and do more filming when I'm back.

You missed a very important point!! NOISE.......It's a LOUD country........blaring music, vendors selling good with mega phones...the list goes on and on of why its a LOUD country unless you live in a small town.......so, if you don't like noise don't move to a major city
