  • Our second day in Shanghai, China and it did not disappoint. There is so much to go and see and we get straight stuck into the Marriage Market at the People's Park and what an interesting morning, but there was much more to see so we hop on the Metro and make a trip to the Old Shanghai Street, a famous Temple and finally check out the Financial District and see the Oriental Pearl Tower up close and personal.
What a city and what a day, make sure to stay tuned and hit that subscribe button to see what else we get up to in China!

I am a Malaysian Chinese. Before I went to China, I thought that China was not free. The media in Europe and the United States and Taiwan Province all reported negatively. Since I went to China in May this year, I found that it was not what the media reported. China is a thriving scene. I have planned my next trip to China, and I am looking forward to it.

Almost all mainstream media have nothing positive to report on China either about the Government or the freedom of the people. In the same breath, every single independent visitor from around the world is surprised that China is not what the media would have him/her believed. Many felt that they have been lied to by their government propaganda and vow to return for further visit.
Seeing is believing and the convenience of 144 hours Visa free is a clever scheme by China to induce private foreign travelers who, after the visit, will return with a true view of modern China and its people.

Dumplings, steamed buns, and pan-fried buns are three traditional Chinese foods, each with distinct differences in shape, preparation, and flavor.
    Dumplings (Jiaozi)
    - Shape: Typically crescent-shaped with pleated edges.
    - Dough: Made with thin, unleavened dough.
    - Filling: Varied, including meats (such as pork, beef, chicken), seafood (such as shrimp, fish), and vegetables (such as cabbage, chives, mushrooms).
    - Preparation: Can be boiled, steamed, pan-fried, or deep-fried. Boiling is the most common method, where dumplings are cooked in water until they float to the top.
    - Serving: Often enjoyed as a main meal or during festivals, usually served with dipping sauces like soy sauce, vinegar, or chili oil.
    Steamed Buns (Baozi)
    - Shape: Generally round with a pinched top, resembling a small pouch.
    - Dough: Made with thick, leavened dough, which is soft and fluffy.
    - Filling: Includes meat fillings (such as pork, beef, chicken), vegetarian fillings (such as cabbage, mushrooms, tofu), and sweet fillings (such as red bean paste, lotus seed paste, custard).
    - Preparation: Primarily steamed in a steamer for about 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
    - Serving: Commonly eaten as breakfast or a snack, especially in northern China, often paired with soy milk or porridge.
    Pan-Fried Buns (Sheng Jian Bao)
    - Shape: Typically round with a flat bottom.
    - Dough: Made with thick, leavened dough, similar to steamed buns, which is soft and fluffy.
    - Filling: Mainly meat fillings, often pork, with a juicy center.
    - Preparation: First pan-fried to achieve a golden-brown bottom, then a small amount of water is added, and the buns are covered to steam, cooking the tops through.
    - Serving: Usually eaten as breakfast or a snack. They have a crispy bottom and a juicy interior, often served with vinegar and ginger strips.
    Summary
    - Dumplings (Jiaozi): Crescent-shaped, thin unleavened dough, various fillings, can be boiled, steamed, pan-fried, or deep-fried.
    - Steamed Buns (Baozi): Round with a pinched top, thick leavened dough, steamed, with a variety of fillings including sweet options.
    - Pan-Fried Buns (Sheng Jian Bao): Round with a flat bottom, thick leavened dough, pan-fried then steamed, usually filled with juicy meat.

Men will have male friends and female female friends.Chinese has a sense a tranditional values where family is no.1 and thus their shared interst is the family and raising their own family. Unlike the west where individualism is leading to fragmentation of socitiy and the self with destruction of religion, the family and the self.

Obviously nonsense even though some get incentives from local governments. However I can see why people say this. So unbelievably biased most channels. Some pic of homelessness in US and then some beautiful pic of China. It’s unnecessary. It’s pathetic. The exaggerations about the west is also ridiculous. One twat said everyone is scared in all parks in the west. A war zone. Bore me with that type of shit chat. Worse than the anti China freaks.

This is the real situation in China. Almost everyone is very satisfied with life, especially the Chinese people who have experienced poverty all the way. The Chinese people are experiencing the best living conditions in history, with cheap and high-quality communications, transportation, and water sources. , electricity, delicious food, safe streets, very low crime rate, people's dignity and equality, international status, I am not saying that CPC has no problems at all, it still makes people dissatisfied in some places, such as the excessive treatment of international students, There are occasional incidents of unfinished buildings, and the difficulty of college entrance examinations in different provinces is different, but we really don’t need anyone to “voice” for us, and we don’t need the so-called Western “freedom” and “liberation”. That’s really ridiculous, Western media Subversive rhetoric will only bring chaos, war and poverty to the Chinese people

    • @lyhRTBhappy
      @lyhRTBhappy 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

The public opinion weapons of the Western media always hope to subvert every political system that challenges their country and then assimilate those ethnic groups. Finally, they say that I have brought you "liberation", "freedom" and "democracy", thank us!

There are many reasons why China is misunderstood. First, some Western countries, led by the United States, do not like things that are different from them, especially political systems and religious beliefs. They lack tolerance and equality; Second, China's rapid progress has made some countries very uncomfortable. They have lost the sense of superiority and pride that they have long held as the center of the world, generating jealousy and even hatred. Third, most of the major social media and software on the Internet are controlled by Americans. They have long encouraged content that defames China and restricted the dissemination of content that benefits China. So I want to show you a real China. You can also point out what you feel uncomfortable about. As long as it is objective and impartial, we can accept it with an open mind and continuously improve.
