Thanks for mentioning the problems that you have encountered so far. My 21’ XT came in about a month ago. Definitely going to heed your advice on the oil lines and dielectric grease. I ended up going with the P-tech skid plate after watching one of your other videos. Keep up the great videos Cally, I appreciate the honest insight. I subscribed as my wife and I have a lot of same hobbies as you and Tyson.
Hello from Oz, just wanted to say a big thank you for a great video, i got some great tips from you and am definitely leaning towards buying a 300XT, big thumbs up, and you did not ramble on, it was all great information so Cheers :-)
These fit me so well! Only 5’6” But coming from 4 strokes, it’s hard to feel comfortable on it. I’ve only spent about an hour on 2 of them in total though.
Cool video guys just found your channel! Love the Beta, great looking bike. 2-smoke ftw!! Also I agree it is YUGE that you can flat foot this bad boy. It is definitely a huge confidence boost to be able to touch.
Great personal review, well done. I have a 2017 300XT and love it, mostly (suspension riding at speed is lethal). Your forks look aftermarket (black tubes)? Great vid, subscribed :)
I’m interested in that skid plate. Did u get it on eBay? Also do you have the fmf expansion chamber or just the silencer? I have the fmf pipe and the guard I see on eBay says it only fits oem parts
I’ve been riding a crf150r for years now and I’ve out grown it and want something more suitable for trails/enduro type riding. I’ve been looking at the 2021 250 xtrainer, but I’ve struggled to find any reviews from a women’s perspective. I was also looking at a yz125x but leaning more towards the beta as I do want decent low end power. Do you know much about the 250? Any advice you can give?
@@AdventureRig Thanks did you have to relocate your throttle cable? I have a 2023 and just put on 1" risers last night and i'd have to either extend the throttle cable or move it to the inside of the bars to go with two inch risers.
@@WadeMade I’m not around the bike to look at it but if I had to do anything it would have only involved rotating the throttle cable 180 degrees to get some extra length on it.
Knock on wood I've not had a problem. From what I've read it seems to occur by 80 hours. I have over 110 hours and 1500 miles so I'm crossing my fingers that it won't be a problem. However I would avoid those years if I were buying again.
This is a 300. And just a heads up... I had to replace my main bearings 3 days ago as the left side went out on me at 130 hours. I was hoping the problem was not going to come up but in the end it did.

Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful.
Great review. I just ordered a 22 model and will be checking the oil line issue.
Congrats enjoy!!

Thanks for watching! Suspension is stock I just have carbon fiber forks guards on the front.
@@AdventureRig great, I should invest, am forever falling off!

Thanks for watching. Here's the skid plate www.adventurerig.com/ptechskidplate/
That's just an FMF silencer.

Unfortunately I have not ridden a 250. I only have experience with the 300.
@@AdventureRig damn thanks anyway
How did you extend your wires to get 2" of bar risers and what brand risers? Thanks
Hi Wade. I didn't have to extend anything, it all reached. The bar risers were made by Trail Tech but are no longer available.

honestly a ktm 150 tpi would fit you just as well however, it looks like you have a lot of wide open spaces.
Thanks for watching!
Perfect timing. I am placing a deposit on one.
Awesome! I think you get the counterbalance as well then!
Yes, the new ones are counterbalanced. I've got a 2020 and I love it. Stay safe. Ride on! ✌😎

Problem with main bearing sounds like expensive fix.Scares me.

Who manufactures it ? Did I miss that ? Great review and I heard no rambling 😄
It’s made by Beta
🤔
@wit plaas boer love my Beta!
Is this the 250 or 300 X trainer ?

How much do you measure?
I’m 5’ 10” tall.
Mix your own oil ,mine worked great until it didn't, ruined a great engine .
Good advice
