I find the creepiest abandoned houses to be the ones that still look lived in. The old dilapidated places are eerie, but there's something really unnerving about an abandoned house that looks like a family lived there up until recently.
Hey im from Jersey, but born in Costa Rica. Just randomly found your channel. Very interesting videos, makes me wish I knew the story behind these abandoned homes. Why did they leave, who were they etc.
Love that you actually do commentary and don't just play a song over everything or just stay silent like alot of them do. Keep up the awesome videos an stay safe. Definitely going to subscribe 😃
I want that old Ford lawn tractor! Those things are really uncommon! I can't believe they would just leave it there. The place looks really cool though. Doesn't seem to have been abandoned too long ago.
I think every building as some sort of haunting per say. Every house holds memories, good or bad. Sometimes it's picked up by people entering, sometines not. It's curious on why the owners left.
Great video, but I almost had a heart attack when your reflection on the mirror appeared. It doesn't help that I'm viewing your video at 4:30 am either... LOL
Haven’t heard of “sticker bushes” in many years (I had forgotten) but that’s what every kid called them in Middletown years ago. Thanks Pat. House is off of rt 34?
do you know if this place is still standing and where it is located? I'm a photographer that goes to abandoned places all over NJ and I'm looking for a new place to shoot
a quick thought, when you are doing these video's please don't speak the obvious, if it's a piece of equipment that is rarely used ok not everyone might have seen it or know what it's for but stating the obvious is spoiling the video, we know what a chair and door look like know what I mean? Interesting video of the old property
Wow, just found this video! There are so many things that you would think would be gone already. Lots of treasures for art projects. Like the ladders! So interesting! You just wonder why it was abandoned? 😁
I just found this channel too, I'm from PR living in South Jersey. I think this house could be creepy, but I didn't see anything in this video that makes it haunted. I like the video.
Interesting video. Wish that was my garage- huge and well built w all that wood inside. About 8 years ago my girlfriend lived in an Italianate style house that was over 100 years old, in upstate NY. It had been divided up into apartments, but was pretty old and creaky. Never got a vibe one way or the other, but once her battery powered wall clock stopped working. It sat that way for a week, and one day it was working again, correct time too. I asked if she'd switched the battery- she didn't (she doesn't do domestic stuff well) and I didn't, and no one else had been in the apartment, certainly no one would've changed the clock battery. The house had mice, but even so, there were a lot of sounds in there at night, creaking and light banging overhead when the upstairs neighbor was away, that made me a light sleeper. I was glad when I bought a house in the area and didn't have to stay there anymore. It had been a post office at one time and we used to joke about a pedantic ghost postmaster who wanted to make sure the time was right. We found an old article saying there had been a suicide in the house, but details were scant so it wasn't possible to verify. Anyhow, I am something of a skeptic, but old houses can have things in them that you can't explain logically.
You do a very good job as a videographer. I like the dialog and the way you take time to allow the viewer to see everything. I have added your channel to my subscriptions.
Why would people abandon a huge properties like that? Can you find in the county property records who the owners were and what happened to them? It's like a pandemic wiped them all out?!
Just saw this, I'm from NJ been camping all over the state. Abandoned places are a trip.. yes even in such a crowded part of the country. Got a few stories of my own
Those papers are not " court documents " , they are a resume . I know the Gentleman , It is blurry but at bottom of the cover sheet "last employed by " Is Beacon Tool on rt.34 That is where I met him , we worked together for a few years . He was an ace CNC machinist/programmer . And a highly ranked Back Gammon champ back in Scotland .
So many chairs at this location and so many of them with wheels. With those large garage/outbuilding I get the impression that the people who lived in the house operated a business. I wouldn't mind living in that house if it were in better condition but I think it's a goner now. Maybe it became too expensive to maintain. I saw a Barbara Taylor Bradford book on the second floor: whenever there are book in abandoned houses I try to get a look at the titles to see if there's something I've read. Interesting how so much of the interior was white or off-white. There's an interesting story here!
There is an old abandon plantation and house behind six flags off reed rd in Jackson, NJ........i've always wanted to go check it out because it has much history pertaining to Jackson. Known as stanley switlik's house who sold his property to six flags before that known as lahaway plantation. You can see it on satellite maps and can get to it off the main road if you ever are around there. Theres decent bike trails too.
Great video! GLAMOUR SHOTSSSS!!! Lol, I always got a laugh seeing those pics. the Ford tractor was cool. thanks for sharing. And as always, be careful out there my friend.
I'd love to see you check out the old preventorium building at the end of preventorium road in Howell. Preventorium rd and norse road split and the preventorium road goes to a dead end by the golf course. The building is at the end of the road. Always wondered about the history of that building
It was an old isolation building used to house tb patients. It was later used as a school until 1972, then sat vacant. Now for the last 25 yrs the Howell twp building
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures I'm from nyc, never been to nj, so could u be able to give me more details on how to get there ? Really a appreciate that brother ✌❤
i used to "investigate" abandoned houses in central NJ with a friend of mine. one time we broke into a house which we thought was abandoned, but someone was actually living there, though no one was in the house when we broke in. ooops. one of the interesting things about abandoned houses is how quickly they deteriorate when people leave.
give me pizza or give me death two teen girls did that to my neighbors house. It looks abandoned. He was in bed and they walked in with their camera. I felt so bad for him.
Karen Ridley, does it really bloody matter what he calls it. It was a bit harsh, saying, " Bad move." I don't care what he calls his videos, I think they're very entertaining and fabulous, so there. 😝😜🤗👻
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures there's an abandoned house on rt 206 south side in Montague in the upper Tocks island area & look almost like that house that's why I asked . Nice find 🤘🤘

Who ever was last occupant before it fell into disrepair was not poor. That's a large property. The oil painting may have been left there by the squatter.

very scary when you were front of the mirror
I hate seeing old building abandoned and left to deteriorate. They don't make houses these days like they used to.
Excellent video. Subscribed.

I believe the state purchased it because it is adjacent to their park property
Is this located in the marlboro/manalapan area?
Give this house to the homeless people, they clear all the Ghost and something by themselves . This is very good cause for us and other people.
Great idea

Thanks so much patrick

It was certainly abandoned, and a bit creepy. I saw no signs of haunting unless you mean the general feeling of abandonment.
It is rumored locally it is haunted

If I may make a suggestion - please hold the camera more steady and don’t move it so quickly. It makes me seasick
They didn't live like that, nature is reclaiming the property.
Well, at least there's no left over dog meat in this one like there was in the Asian house you explored. :D
If I had to go to a abandoned creepy house I would go with allot of my friends
The house reminds me of my friends house she fell down the stairs
Creepy picture?...really?
It is scary. You shouldn't visit it alone. At least have your vehicle nearby. A low-budget horror or post-apocalyptic can easily be shot here.
I looked up name on the paper you showed and he was a lawyer there and then in Ohio after that I don't know

why is the equation house +abandoned always = haunted?
spirits live in creepy places.they look for lost souls, and there are many
