You went to Trenton old medical Center, right by the hospital those places are still abandoned right bro. It looks like a ghost town I draw pass in my car over there it looks like something out of a horror movie 🍿
That was pretty unnerving my dude. Don't think I could talk myself into doing that one alone.
I was born there. My mom also worked there until it closed and they moved to the new bougie location at "Hotel" Hopewell. I helped her move her unit from the old location to the new.
This place hasn't been abandoned for much more than 10 years. The only "scary" thing about it is squatters and other people that shouldn't be there.
What a waste.
I was born in this hospital in the 70s and my dad worked here as a doctor up until the mid 90s. I wonder if he would recognize any parts of this building.

Could you imagine seeing something at the far opposite end of a long corridor or hallway scurry across out sight.. And the only way out is to go towards it
As a horder I hate seeing all those cabinets and carts not being used in someone's shop

I worked here for 15 years, until the day it closed and we moved to the new hospital. It is so crazy to see what it looks like now, blows my mind! I wish you had gone into the actual main part of the hospital. The doors you went through were more the admin side. The doors chained behind the security desk lead to the main corridor of the hospital (and you can get the the morgue that way) I’d love to see my old office!!!

At 6:19 minutes in to the video you are in the Lab. You opened a Laminar Air Flow hood that blood samples were looked at. Serology is the examination of blood.
That was so cool, it's amazing how much how much good stuff is in that building that could still be used! They're just going to let rot!
I cant believe that place has all its copper pipe still intact!
The morgue is in the basement. I used to bring bodies there. There's an old Iron Lung near the entrance to it.

thats alot of filing cabinets in good shape, should gather up some free ones and experiment with making them into different kinds of tool and part storage

It's not _THE_ morgue as that's under control of the state's Department of Health and is in another location in the city, but it's "cold storage" or a localized morgue for that hospital.
Your in the lab . You have to go way down to the lowest floor then down two to three more floors .
It’s apparent you’ve been in there a Few times. No way I’d fine my way out. Kinda creepy going through there and sad that it closed.
Looked like bombs went off in there. It was shredded up. And then that office @12:43 was creepy being so undisturbed compared to the rest of the place.

Well, it's a damn good thing that I watched this on TH-cam, because if I had seen this in person, I'm sure I would have suffered nightmares for quite some time!!! EEEeesh!!!!!
Wish I had a couple of those wooden doors without windows. They make excellent computer desk or tables, I use a blank closet door and it is still too small to handle all my gear. Those doors are solid wood as this closet door is hollow with some light re enforcement inside glued. The layout of this hospital reminds me of the movie Bullet with Steve McQueen, in the hospital scenes they were tight spaced and narrow just like this place. It would seem the morgue would be at ground level so loading of the ambulances would be easier.

That is creepy . It’s ashame is it badly vandalized . Where where the cops when this was going on. ? That place should just be demolished. A fire hazard .
Shame ,all that lab cabinets ,fixtures and assorted hardware are made well and cost big buck , We waste so much , it's pathetic .

Was there a few months ago definitely one of my favorite explores the place is just so big some of the place is still partially untouched and yes the roof is one of my favorite parts as well and the large stair case at the back with glass encasing it
Are you ever concerned about running into someone with bad intentions when exploring places like this? Ever have any close calls? Seems like these places would be honey holes for squatters/drug users.
How about the jet lab and tunnels to General Motors in Ewing?
I went there a couple times, but never upload the video about it because it's government property and I didn't want to mess with the wrong people if you know what I mean.
It is up for development and the buildings are not going to around too long. You might check with the county and see if they are receptive. They are doing pre-demolition work presently.

That is SICK. Love it. Looks like an awesome place for a paranormal investigation. I dig this type of shit. There are a few places up near me in NY that are believed to be haunted. Most were Tuberculosis hospitals at some point with quite a bit of death, tragedy and even torture through medical experiments. What's the story with this place anyways? Thank you for sharing this, it's way cool.

Mercer Hospital is a treasure. I understand these guys have no emotional attachment to it but many of us do. Your flippant handling of the material is just kind of disappointing. You'll never know the skill and brilliance that within those walls saved my life and many in my family from 1930 to 2011.
