This certainly matches my own experience with top surgery. When I had top surgery (with a different surgeon), I took my pain meds for just a day and a half after surgery, and alternated between tylenol and ibuprofen for about 3 more days after that. Most of the pain and discomfort I felt was from the tightness of the bandages more than anything else.

Thanks for sharing a little bit about your experience here. Post-op pain will vary person to person, but generally patients do experience less pain than anticipated. We do often hear that "discomfort" describes the post-op period!

Hi there! Top surgery can cost between $8,500-10,000. For a full breakdown of the fees, as well as financing options outside of insurance, please head to our website: www.genderconfirmation.com/about-us/fees-and-financing/
