Very professional job my man, nice to see other people actually taking time to use wet rag on the valve, deburring and sanding the pipes, and purging! Can’t believe how many people don’t even remove the Schaeder cores when brazing. My family lives in Mt. Juliet and I’ll definitely recommend you to them if I can’t get up there in time for a repair! 👍🏼

Is Hiller an electrical company or an a/c company that puts bright yellow stickers with a big warning sign saying: “Stop your warranty will be voided if another company works on this unit”? Something like that. I’m in Florida and see those labels.

Anthony Reardon hvacr a Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical company. The sticker says do not remove. This system was installed by Hiller. Check the following problems before calling; advice on how to remedy the issue possibly without having to call us out. Doesn’t say anything about voiding the warranty. Because that would be a lie.

I also use the appion core removal tools and the same 1/4-3/8" 1/2"id hoses. I've tried almost all core removal tools and appion seems the best for me. I also use a appion speed y fitting on my pump so I can use two hoses on bigger systems. What a difference in speed of evac compared to my old manifold and 1/4" hose days lol. Only thing I see that I would do different is install the filter drier inside upstream of the evap. Good work though as usual.

Hi, can you explain when you use nitrogen in the system to braze your copper. I have seen you on new installs with long line sets brazing without nitrogen. So when you first start brazing at the evaporator when you begin brazing, you really cannot hook up the nitrogen. So again if your brazing a new install back to the condenser, before you braze your line set to the service valves would you then hook up your nitrogen to finish the brazing up at the service valves. Can all the connections brazed with out nitrogen on a new install have contaminants at every connection brazed. I'm trying to know when you should use nitrogen to keep contaminants down to a minimum.
