👍🏼Love the videos. I am a young tech that just graduated college. I spend all of my free time finding ways to better my skills and I enjoy watching your videos, makes me want to start my own company someday.
If you ask the home owner for some hot water and fill a 5 gallon bucket half way then put your tank in it while your doing pressure and vacuum you'll have no trouble putting in the full amount of refrigerant the unit needs. 👍
Or you just buy an electric heatbelt ;)
Cheaper and no water everywhere.
Very efficient when you do recovery and when you’re charging ;)
@@Toni-ght Not sure about cheaper 😅 But sounds nice for recovery. 👍
I just add fresh refrigerant weighed in
Or you don’t need to buy anything and just use your recovery machine to push it in
@@T_cole_g never heard of that. Guess the condenser coil becomes the tank and the refrigerant tank becomes the condenser needing to be recovered. 🧐
I’m really impressed with the attention to detail you take when cleaning those units. It’s very obvious that you take a lot of pride in your work and it shows! Watching how you do things makes me realize I need to step my game up on my maintenances. I don’t really enjoy doing them, would rather run calls or swap out equipment, but I still do a good job. But I’m definitely not using a brush and scrubbing down the units and with that particular Trane package unit, I don’t think I’ve ever cleaned all the leaves out of the top under the condenser fan. I do clean the coil but you’re going above and beyond and that’s exactly how I want to work as well. You have inspired me to start going the extra mile on my maintenances! Even though it’s not my favorite thing, I owe it to my customers to go above and beyond what other companies are doing and always give 110 percent!
👍. Great work as always!
unfortunate that manufacturers can't seem to solve the leak problems in coils, but you handled it well 😀
👍 started doing residential HVAC about 10 months ago. I work in Arizona and the heat and humidity this summer has been brutal, but I'm powering through it and learning every day
Thanks for the tip about unbraiding a joint. You make it so easy. 👍
Just got into residential HVAC back in January and not only have I learned a TON about the business and troubleshooting but also staying organized. Will continue to support you for a long time to come. Take care and stay cool!
I got into residential HVAC in 1988, get out now and get into industrial. You'll never make great money in this field without working extremely hard 24/7. You'll be like this guy, making TH-cam videos in hope you'll make some more money. I own rentals too or there's no way I could live relatively comfortably.
👍👍 To be honest, I don’t know how you manage to do such a good job every single time. Very well done
I watch you all the time to help become a better tech myself! Love the videos and how you explain what you’re doing!
I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Your attention to detail is much appreciated and I appreciate your taste in high quality tools. Please keep up the good work!

👍. That infi-con scale has a Very nice Display ! 😉😉 Very easy to read. i'm going to have to look into the price of that scale.
a Tip For You -- to make un-sweating a Joint easier when replacing a component with extra tubing hanging out.
1) Just Snip out the Part with Side cutters a few inches from your un-sweat joint. that way You can remove the Part & Get it out of your way to just pull on a just a Few inches of copper rather than pulling on an entire component.
2) spread a little white brazing flux on the joint BEFORE un-sweating the joint. it thins the silfoss and makes it run easier & also cleans the Joint for re-assembly. Worth its weight in gold trick.
Well worth the time. 43 years of sweating joints here.
Great video !

Use a heat gun or tank heater after vaccum and you’ll never have to dump liquid in the suction line after evacuation ever again.
