Cascais Line - A One-day Getaway From Lisbon

- My second day in Portugal began on a warm morning at Cais do Sodre, along the banks of the Tagus River in Lisbon. From there, I took a unique coastal commuter line to the beach town of Cascais. Shortly after departure, I realized that the views from the train were so beautiful; I couldn't just spend the entire journey on board. Some proper railfanning would be necessary as well. After all, when else do you get to watch trains right from the beach?

Very nice video... You see, I actually live in Berlin, but.. my parents live in Caxias, just where you got the train after your walk.. I did that walk and that beach many times :)) It looks wonderful without the summer crowds.. while here in Berlin everything is cold and under snow at the moment... charming also.. but.. you can't beat Portugal :)
It's a lovely place, I am definitely going back one day!
This is lovely thank you.
thanks for watching! :)
This is a really nice simple video. Great work
Thanks! There is a bunch more on the channel with a similar vibe but from different places. :)
Magnificent video, i like it 5 stars.
Thumbs up.
Keep up the perfect work, my friend, liked and subscribed, Greetings from Portugal to Bangkok.
Thank you so much! Subscribe returned! :) Lisbon is such a great spot for railfanning. Hope to return back one day.
Cascais is more than a stop for tourists it’s considered very bourgeois and many Portuguese live here all year long. It is considered to be borderline high class with Estoril. It’s one of the more desired places for people that live in Lisbon that want to get outside of the city. It’s a high class suburb.
Some of the houses and villas I have seen there on my short visit were truly magnificent and thanks to the train line it's so convenient to get to Lisbon. I believe Sintra is not far by road as well. It's a great spot indeed.
@@mibal10 sintra is beautiful but it’s a mob scene with tourists.
very nice video
thanks, it's a really lovely walk out there.
I’m going to Lisbon on the 14th this looks like a nice outing I may take
Sure, if you have a half day this is a lovely to get some beach vibes. The food in Cascais is great too!
É melhor não entrar no forte de cachias. S. Bruno.
@@mariaglorica9435 Ah, é mesmo? Por quê? Está bagunçado? Perigoso?
I go to Lisbon nice place
Agreed, cant wait to return and explore some more of it.
Kkkk...os comboios são absoletos!! Esse país parou em termos de investimento ferroviário! 😏🤔. Parabéns pelo vídeo, muito bom 👏👌☺️
São lindos, para mim melhores que qualquer um da Suíça
@@goncalotome1791 Devo concordar aqui.
