  • Feedback on the feel of the Mikado Vbar Evo Flybarless system. Using the original Mikado Touch Radio. Theta Razor C1 cyclic servos and Razor T1 tail. Cyclic servos are set to 333hz and 1520 μs. Tail servo is at 1000 hz and 760 μs.

Much sharper tail. Super fast response.

Thanks for the video. I've never fancied the transparent VControl, but it looks great here.

good that you can tell the difference, on the tail , i would assume that the cyclic were 333Hz and 1520 anyway so are you saying that there is that much difference in the feel? the only thing that puts me off is having to purchase the pro rescue extension again as they are not transferable which is a bit of a rip off, but seems like your having fun man keep up the flying and enjoy the EVO :)

Great feedback. I think at my skill level the regular NEO is fine. Besides I have the Classic radio. Until I migrate to a touch (likely an EVO Touch at that point) I will start moving the whole platform. But seems like this is just the evolution provided by more modern internals. Pretty sweet.

Why did they stop making the clear. Wonder if you can get the case alone as an upgrade.

Will the Evo work with an original non touch v control?

Weirdly enough I can all of those same moves with a flybar. Imo, these flybarless systems are too locked in, they have no character to me. Of course you can make it more 'vivid' but it still doesnt have the character and organic feel that you are actually flying something that a flybar gives right off the bat. I can feel the flybarless just doing way too much work, takes so much fun out for me.

Thing is even if so many of us has only even flown FBL like myself. One things for sure is you won't have the same efficiency and power.

on the evo at 144 hz and 1520 i'm running around 60 or 63 at 2150 headspeed. that's with Theta C1. still running 500 hz on the tail

@@manuelmoosmann that is what I've had the most success with this refresh rate. When I increase overtime I'm getting higher vibrations and strange tendencies. I liked it initially but have gone back to 144hz
