    Your flight skills are insane. I Just discovered this heli today. Looks to be a couple hundred more than the RS4. I have been flying the RS2 for a few months (helicopters for many years). The RS2 is awesome, but I want something larger for my eyes. This M4 looks great.

    Kick ass video. Did you try messing with the P and I gain on cyclic for the "bobble"!? If that didn't work I would want to swap out some new servos and see what happens. 🚁💨💯

    Nice flying! That looks like a nice heli. Is torque tub or belt? Do you have a preference and why? I'm fairly new to the hobby. Thank you.

    • @emersonb5764
      @emersonb5764 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure on this Heli but most guys I fly with prefer belt tail. Less prone to vibrations and less fragile in crashes. On my torquetube helis I pretty much have to replace the torque tube and boom on ever crash. Belt tail can tolerate a minuscule tweak or misalignment in the boom but torque tube can’t. Either is fine, pros and cons either way. Torque tube doesn’t need re-tensioned in cold weather.

    Have you tried on the RT 71 tail blades. Also will you be trying 6s 2200 batteries in the near future ?

    • @BladeScraper
      @BladeScraper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haven't really felt the need to use the RT as these ones seem to perform fine. I will be getting different batteries in the future most likely yes

  • @littlebox8510
    @littlebox8510 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for sharing! From what I find online, the HRB 6s 1800 battery is around 270g, the recommended battery is 295g-325g, I'm curious how did you get the CG right?

    • @BladeScraper
      @BladeScraper  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The HRB 1800s that I got on Amazon recently are actually heavier than any of the ones I had before. All of the other ones were 295-297g, but the ones ordered and received yesterday morning are larger and weigh 335g, so they're actually a bit heavier than recommended. It still CGs just fine though!

      @@BladeScraper Wow that's huge variation, and could be sometimes misleading with the inaccurate descriptions. Thanks for sharing the information!

    • @BladeScraper
      @BladeScraper  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@littlebox8510 Yeah I don't know. I'm hoping they are a higher C rating than the old ones which could be why they're larger and heavier. Obviously they still say the same 50C but maybe now they're closer to that number than the older ones. Should definitely update their description though

    What’s the pitch you had setup for this M4? It seems to fly a lot better than the protos IMO.

    • @BladeScraper
      @BladeScraper  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have a pitch gauge so I don't know the exact amount, but I know the pitch was just slightly beyond the marks on the blade grips.

    How do you determine headspeed precisely? Nice flying!

    • @BladeScraper
      @BladeScraper  ปีที่แล้ว

      The OMP ESC is hard coded. :) 100% = 4000rpm, 50% = 2000rpm, etc. Confirmed with telemetry to be accurate. Very easy rpm calculation :) disadvantage is it's not as useful for other helis, but for the M4 it is as easy as it gets
