  • I am back with another awesome handset! This is my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Unboxing & Review! What an awesome mid-range handset!!
So many nice features including a 120Hz AMOLED Display, a pretty decent camera, and a truly lovely design. Xiaomi are totally smashing it right now!
In this video, I unbox the handset and take a look at all of the main featrues of the smartphone, including the display, performance, camera, battery and a lot more.
As far as I am concerned, the entire Xiaomi Redmi Smartphone range for 2021 is very good. Can't wait to see what they do next!
Would you buy the Redmi Note 10 Pro, or one of their other recent handsets? Let me know in the comment section and I'll catch you guys in the next one.

@@Conceptcreator ...at least there's no annoying intro music that adds nothing; nor is he speaking too fast as alot of reviewers tend to do. There's no smugness and 'aren't I brilliant' vibes going on which is also the case with some reviewers, who won't just let the phone speak for itself; they have to show off their tech credentials as if they're competing with it.
And finally none of this 'click on the subscribe' button before they've even begun - do that at the end of a review, not the start!
All in all a no frills, no gimmicks, no nonsense review. Just what I want!

    Hey Roger,
Thanks for this review mate. I have been enjoying the Xiaomi mi note 10 pro since May 2020, I decided I needed to get another phone for business activities, so I stuck to Xiaomi and settled for the Redmi Note 10 pro.. I am one of the many few who feel getting a mobile over £500 is not value for money, since the novelty of a new last a few minutes or hours for tech savvy guys or at the most 30 days. The crazy thing about phones is technology is on the constant move, keeping up with the most up-to-date gadgets needs to be income generated activity.
    Looking forward to more reviews..

    • @LifeofTechUK
      @LifeofTechUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey, thanks very much for watching the video...and I totally agree!
A lot of the time it is hard to warrant the extra money for a flagship device, when you can get a smartphone like the Redmi Note 10 Pro at such a good price.
It is extremely hard to keep up with the latest tech all the time, unless you are prepared to spend a large amount of money. That is very true.
I honestly do think that Xiaomi handsets are great value, and I'll do my best to cover many more in the future 🙂

Thanks, I bought this 6 weeks ago in the UK for £219 after seeing reviews including yours. Amazing for the money, can't fault it, works wonderfully, agree on build quality. I was rather annoyed with some manufacturers making you pay extra for the charger under some "saving the planet" pretence so the supplied one welcome. Also was a nice touch to have the case included.

Hi Bro, pls help me here, I have the Poco F2 Pro with Snap 865(been using it for 8 months now) and it's cool but I really like and miss some features like the FM Radio, Stereo Speakers, SD card slot snd high refresh rate which are all missing on the F2 Pro butare available on the Redmi Note 10 Pro. I am not a heavy gamer at all. I rarely play games. I hear people say the Snap 865 on the F2 Pro will last for many years. Does it mean the 732G will not last for 3 to 4 years too especially considering I am not a gamer? I am really confused. I would like to swap the F2 Pro for the Redmi Note 10 Pro but I am wondering if that is the best decision. Is it worth it? Will I be making a serious mistake? Thanks....

Hey! Thanks for taking a look at the video. I can honestly say that the more I've used Xiaomi handsets this year, the more I realise how much you get for your money.
I think you will be extremely happy with it. As soon as you take it out of the box, the whole experience is fantastic. The build quality is very good, the display is great, and so is the software.

My question, then, before I order this, is very simple: am I going to miss out (in the next 3 years) by not going with a 5G handset (I don't game, rarely watch TV, so use the phone for camera, Email, social and calls). Great review, one of the best phones of the year , got one earlier in the year to temporarily replace broken S20 ultra and this blew me away with how good it is ,I also recently had an 11t pro for a week and I thought it would be better, I sent it back after a week . honestly I couldn't see much improvement between this and 11t pro ,yeah the 11t pro is a little quicker, charges in 20 min and got 5g , camera was only marginally better in low light but daytime you would be hard pushed to know the difference, screen pretty much same .For me 11t pro wasn't worth another £300 more .
The only gripe really is the miui can be a bit inconsistent at times but I've noticed its getting better with updates .
Definitely worth every penny and excited to see what the Note 11 Pro and pro + be like

Obviously it’s at the cheaper end of the market, but have to confess it’s a competent handset and although I’ve not used a flagship android, the latest iPhone is not worth more than 4x the price (8x in my case)

Excellent review of this impressive handset. I recently upgraded to Miui13 from 12.5, and am somewhat regretting that! Mainly, the one-handed option, which was great on 12.5 (you got a two-thirds reduction in size of the whole display, and could adjust the degree of the reduction and position it on the left or right of the screen), is a travesty on 13 - the display simply slips down the screen about halfway, meaning all your app buttons are inaccessible (unless you reposition them at the top of your display). This drives me mad - I wish I hadn't 'up' graded! Is there a safe way I can roll back to 12.5? Thanks.

@@karlsmith8113 hi, Gcam, aka Google Camera, is a port of Google's own camera SW to other devices.
With it's better image processing algorithms, the output is much better than on most stock camera apps. (Midrange Handsets).
But it's a bit of a challenge to settle on the right port for the device, because there are plenty of them available. But mostly are interoperable.

Hmm, I do have to say that more demanding games like Genshin Impact and COD Mobile also work perfectly. Wild Rift is also super smooth at 60 fps. It is only Fortnite that's borderline unplayable but that's more because of Fortnites shitty optimization (and imo a smartphone isn't the best way to play a BR anyway so yeah...). The phone is really great so far, coming from an OP6 it definitely feels like an upgrade and I like all the MIUI features I got but the OS is pretty buggy at times.
