@@rabs747 Yes it does if you set it to 120hz refresh rate and on light mode. Dark mode is best to save battery, but yeah it does drain faster than my old Asus Zenfone 4 Max
@@rabs747 For me the battery standby ias per the battery chart is about 35 hours to 48 hours, i once got 49 hours and 22 min and still had 9% left,but on the first day when i unboxed my ph it had 61% battery, it didnt even last for 2 hours i dono why , then next i charged the phone from 0 to 100 it took almost 2 hours, from that day battery drain wasnt happening, my least battery hours was 29 hours, i am a normal user mostly i use for social media and yt so some calls , but i tested games if u play games it drains battery 100 to 0 in just 8 hours in low graphics itself and, this definely not good sign, but it doesn't bother me coz i dont play games in this phone , i have seprate ph for it. and i never used 120hz till today if we switch to 120hz it will probably drain more faster .Also try 0 to 100 chrage it may resolve the drain issue
Just got mine on the 25th. 6GB/64GB variant. For a sub 11k price, definitely a premium unit for its bells and whistles. For me, the 120 Hz AMOLED visual and the 5MP macro lens against the usual 2MP are the crowning glory for this gadget. Still getting used to the UI coming from Samsung ecosystem.
@Mr Meeseeks Hey! Right off the bat, the OS takes a big chunk of space in the storage (around 13GB+) so consider that when deciding for the capacity. I purposely went for 64GB since SD card is available for expansion. Some bloatware here and there but you can remove some. For the notification bar when pulling it down for full view, i notice some frame skipping/lagging even when its @ 120Hz display. Not really bothering that will affect your quality of use but its there, hoping future OS update will address that. No flickering issue as per post of @ Renzo Claros - Tech & Cameras On regular use like call and text, browsing, video & audio listening; no slowdowns or hiccups. Only after playing games do i experience hiccups but only for a short time and that's a given thing. My OS version: 12.5.6 I came from Samsung A51. Hope these help out. ^___^

I have it for 3 months and here are my issues: when I want to end a call my proximity sensor doesn't work and my screen remains black, so the other person should end the call. These days I just shake my phone and it lights up. It's the same when I open a voice message in Messenger - black screen until the message is over. I again shake the phone to fix it, sometimes it works. Also the touch sensitivity is tooo strong, when I scroll down TH-cam comments I accidentally open a comment, and it happens often, it's annoying. I cannot fix that. Also the camera in lower light is not good - I cannot read a text on the other wall of my room on a poster. It's almost the same in the day light. I'm not satisfied with the camera. I installed GCam and it's the same. My old PocoF1 makes better photos with GCam than 10 pro. Also when I'm on loudspeaker or when I send a message or record sounds there is some background noise that is so annoying even if I'm in a quiet room alone. When I shoot a photo of a close text it blurs the edges and only the center of the photo is clear, I couldn't fix this. Overall I'm gonna sell it and stay with my old PocoF1 which is still perfect in performance, camera, battery life (1 day of hard use - at least 7-8h SoT). On note 10 pro it's 9h SoT, when I use dark mode, 60hz, always turn on battery saver, light on 50%, and only WiFi on. It doesn't heat up except in direct sunlight. Also my side fingerprint sensor is working 60% of the time.
I know that Samsung A32 4g is a weak competitor against this phone in terms of specs but I am really into Samsung because of its stable OS. use dark wallpaper. off location. off auto brightness. 40%below brightness but if u go outside go for 50% above . punta ka setting-battery-find app battery saver then click mo mga apps at irestrict background activity mo ang mga apps na di mo ginagamit tapos restrict background apps mo ang mga apps na iyong ginagamit. go to setting and search usage access then click three dots in bottom then kada apps click mo then turn off mo ang permission usage access. go to setting- homescreen- i off ang global animations.
My redmi note 10 pro is consuming battery at so high pace even at wifi. I don't know what to do, my 3 years old Huawei model has battery is still better than this brand new phone.
I chose this phone for more on the gaming side. On my 2nd day and I noticed the mic sucks. I cant find any solutions online and dont wanna risk going out due to Covid and replace this phone.
Are you still experiencing some screen flickering issues? Because I experience it whenever I turn 120 Hz and when on auto brightness i really hate that I have to switch to 60 Hz just to stop the slight flickers
@@phil781 Did you see any green tint/gradient in dark environment? I'm having it. Also screen light/tint flickers when scrolling. But setting to 60Hz, there is no noticeable issue.

I have using the 8/128 rom, no problem, I using the indonesia version, with 12.5.2 update, no problem except the notification of spotify The dolby atmos sound is awesome, amoled display is great, performance is great, design absolutely stunning If u dont mind the big screen, this phone is worth getting it

@@rabs747 so far, i haven’t experienced anything like that. But one thing i did notice is that everytime i used a third party theme, it used much more battery than it should have. Still, i was able to get atleast a backup of 7 hours. I am a moderate gamer btw.

@@SillySymphonyXD I also thought that was automatic when i purchased this. I found out that you have to manually set to 108mp and the picture has some weird aspect ratio... When i compared the standard pictures to my sony xperia xz premium they look almost the same. But xiaomi has a lot of cameras whereas the xz premium has a single camera loolz...

for android, always go for the newer phones. not sure how much software and security updates the mate 20 pro is guaranteed for but it's 3 years old so probably not much. you probably will get up to android 10 only. Also it's used, no real guarantees as far as battery health, and overall phone damage which is based on how it was used by the previous owner. the experience would be the same except maybe in the camera department (it wll be close though). just my 2 cents.

Just like what he said on his 60days video on rn10pro, just get the 6gb ram, since the processor could only maximize so much... and most of the time, 8gb ram is just overkill for casual use, unless u are gaming, which this phone isn't specialized/made for. Rn10pro is more of a "balanced" phone with great camera.
I just got my Redmi Note 10 Pro yesterday and I think my version is currently still at 12.0.14 or something like that. Should I update to 12.5.1 or just wait a few months for their MIUI 13? I’m scared that I might encounter issues because currently I’ve been having no issues so far. Btw I don’t really want to flash a custom rom because I think it voids the warranty so yeah that’s that.
Since you're fine with the version you have right now, it's ok to wait until a better version of 12.5 arrives. But if you're going to wait for 13, it might arrive at the end of the year or next year.

Got it 3 weeks ago. I'm used to Huawei still trying to adjust my fingers on the sensor. I'm finding that listening to voice note on whatsap hard! It do go dim suddenly.
When we look at the specifications between the Redmi note 10 pro and the Samsung A52S 5G with a price difference in Europe of around 150 €, which is not nothing! + The Samsung has a wide angle of 64 megapixels stabilized or 16 megapixels, the other depth and macro sensors of 5 megapixels, but not stabilized, optimized autofocus, automated HDR and of course 5G, creation of stabilized videos and a night mode more efficient. I make almost as many videos as I do photos and the Redmi note 10 pro in tests is very criticized when creating videos (fairly low bitrate), in addition the 108 megapixels are sales arguments, it takes a bright day and again, no real difference between the 12 megapixel and the 108 megapixels. The criticism on the Samsung is at the level of the depth sensor and the macro, just there to look pretty, all at a relatively steep price. I am really between two chairs to choose from. Kris

@@tanteberthe9204 tbh 108MP is just good but here's a bad thing about Xiaomi Note 10 Pro. The softwares aren't that good as say 108MP from Samsung. It's just a mid range after all. But here's my tip for you. I'll pick a mid range phone that has a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. You could use Google Camera/GCam download it from a website. It's quite nice to say the least. The details are even better but ofcourse it takes more storage. I'm using a GCam on my Realme 5i a lower midrange with Snapdragon 665. The default Camera would take a shot around 2.3MB with not so much details and a lot of noise. As for when I use GCam I got around 4MB but it depends if you want the highest resolution or not. But mine is on 4MB. It looks really nice. It's like Google Pixel phone camera

The details is really good since it's a 108MP camera but ofcourse Xiaomi is having lack of software on camera side. But it's good enough. But if you want some options to have a better photo. Say you want to take a picture of a document. GCam is really good in having those details. But the default Camera for Redmi Note 10 Pro isn't that bad either. It just comes to a personal taste with the colouring and HDR. In conclusion. It's good enough. But if you want more out of it have a phone that use a Snapdragon CPU from Qualcomm to allow GCam Why? GCam can only run on Snapdragon CPU from Qualcomm. The GCam is just another tip if you need it. Tbh my stock camera is trash. When I used GCam it's a great game changer for me

Overall phone is great. The only thing is, the phone gets hot when charging like it reaches up to 42 degrees and I don't if that is alarming or just normal.

Hi guys . I have this and I noticed That the battery is quickly drained. I also have the vivo v21e and reno 4 with amoled display too but this 10 pro is quicky drained even for simple social media browsing same as the oppo reno 4 but reno 4 is very transparent that it only has 4015 mah while this RMN10 PRO has 5020 mah yet still it has the same battery performance with the reno 4. Kahit na disable ko yung 120refresh rate mabilis pa din malowbat
same tayo mam yan din yung napansin ko agad. Madali talaga siyang madrain kahit 90 refresh rate na. Parang di 5020 ang battery. Sa charging naman walang problema 1.15-1.30 hrs lang puno na.
🙋🏻♂️I noticed another fault in my Note 10 pro device 🧐. When I face the camera downwards in a low light room, all I can see is a pitch dark screen but I face the rear cam upwards, I'm able to see atleast something on the screen. Screen also flickers and right bottom of screen reddish black kinda colour when brightness is lowered. Anyone facing the same issue?

Are you still experiencing some screen flickering issues? Because I experience it whenever I turn 120 Hz and when on auto brightness i really hate that I have to switch to 60 Hz just to stop the slight flickers

The dolby atmos sound is awesome, amoled display is great, performance is great, design absolutely stunning

@@rabs747 so far, i haven’t experienced anything like that. But one thing i did notice is that everytime i used a third party theme, it used much more battery than it should have. Still, i was able to get atleast a backup of 7 hours. I am a moderate gamer btw.

It's ready. There's a 108MP mode for photos that is shown already once you open the camera app.

@@SillySymphonyXD I also thought that was automatic when i purchased this. I found out that you have to manually set to 108mp and the picture has some weird aspect ratio... When i compared the standard pictures to my sony xperia xz premium they look almost the same. But xiaomi has a lot of cameras whereas the xz premium has a single camera loolz...

for android, always go for the newer phones. not sure how much software and security updates the mate 20 pro is guaranteed for but it's 3 years old so probably not much. you probably will get up to android 10 only.
Also it's used, no real guarantees as far as battery health, and overall phone damage which is based on how it was used by the previous owner. the experience would be the same except maybe in the camera department (it wll be close though). just my 2 cents.

Just like what he said on his 60days video on rn10pro, just get the 6gb ram, since the processor could only maximize so much... and most of the time, 8gb ram is just overkill for casual use, unless u are gaming, which this phone isn't specialized/made for. Rn10pro is more of a "balanced" phone with great camera.
I just got my Redmi Note 10 Pro yesterday and I think my version is currently still at 12.0.14 or something like that. Should I update to 12.5.1 or just wait a few months for their MIUI 13? I’m scared that I might encounter issues because currently I’ve been having no issues so far. Btw I don’t really want to flash a custom rom because I think it voids the warranty so yeah that’s that.
Since you're fine with the version you have right now, it's ok to wait until a better version of 12.5 arrives. But if you're going to wait for 13, it might arrive at the end of the year or next year.

I make almost as many videos as I do photos and the Redmi note 10 pro in tests is very criticized when creating videos (fairly low bitrate), in addition the 108 megapixels are sales arguments, it takes a bright day and again, no real difference between the 12 megapixel and the 108 megapixels.
The criticism on the Samsung is at the level of the depth sensor and the macro, just there to look pretty, all at a relatively steep price.

@@tanteberthe9204 tbh 108MP is just good but here's a bad thing about Xiaomi Note 10 Pro. The softwares aren't that good as say 108MP from Samsung. It's just a mid range after all. But here's my tip for you. I'll pick a mid range phone that has a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. You could use Google Camera/GCam download it from a website. It's quite nice to say the least. The details are even better but ofcourse it takes more storage. I'm using a GCam on my Realme 5i a lower midrange with Snapdragon 665. The default Camera would take a shot around 2.3MB with not so much details and a lot of noise. As for when I use GCam I got around 4MB but it depends if you want the highest resolution or not. But mine is on 4MB. It looks really nice. It's like Google Pixel phone camera

The details is really good since it's a 108MP camera but ofcourse Xiaomi is having lack of software on camera side.

But if you want some options to have a better photo.

GCam is really good in having those details.
But the default Camera for Redmi Note 10 Pro isn't that bad either. It just comes to a personal taste with the colouring and HDR.

But if you want more out of it have a phone that use a Snapdragon CPU from Qualcomm to allow GCam

Overall phone is great. The only thing is, the phone gets hot when charging like it reaches up to 42 degrees and I don't if that is alarming or just normal.

Hi guys . I have this and I noticed That the battery is quickly drained. I also have the vivo v21e and reno 4 with amoled display too but this 10 pro is quicky drained even for simple social media browsing same as the oppo reno 4 but reno 4 is very transparent that it only has 4015 mah while this RMN10 PRO has 5020 mah yet still it has the same battery performance with the reno 4. Kahit na disable ko yung 120refresh rate mabilis pa din malowbat
same tayo mam yan din yung napansin ko agad. Madali talaga siyang madrain kahit 90 refresh rate na. Parang di 5020 ang battery. Sa charging naman walang problema 1.15-1.30 hrs lang puno na.

🙋🏻♂️I noticed another fault in my Note 10 pro device 🧐. When I face the camera downwards in a low light room, all I can see is a pitch dark screen but I face the rear cam upwards, I'm able to see atleast something on the screen.
Screen also flickers and right bottom of screen reddish black kinda colour when brightness is lowered.
Anyone facing the same issue?
