Me too, American Region 1 DVD's - I couldn't get them here in the UK. I watched the Ewok Adventures on VHS in the 90's when I grew up - great films, my favorite was Battle for Endor.The 2nd film.
I also own this double feature on dvd. I was lucky enough to find it years ago in the bargain bin at walmart for 5 dollars. Im so glad even though their not the greatest movies they still are part of my star wars collection. And i love all my star wars movies very much from the original new hope to the rise of skywalker.

Since the empire had built the shield generator time by the time of Return of the Jedi, I can only imagine what they did to the indigenous population to do so. That would account for why the Ewoks are so hostile to humans.

The Ewok spin-off movies are both good movies and they not just expand the Star Wars universe, but also the world of Endor. Warwick Davis is great again as Wicket as is the heart of the Ewok spin-off movies. Eric Walker and Aubree Miller both do their best and with what they are given and Aubree Miller has good chemistry with Warwick Davis. The Battle for Endor is fantastic and I think it's the best and most enjoyable of the 2 films. It helps to develop the characters and the friendship between Cindel and Wicket and Aubree Miller was good when her character is hurt by the death of her family and when she has a PTSD nightmare. I am glad JJ Abrams got Warwick Davis return as Wicket only for a cameo in Rise of Skywalker and we never know what's on the horizon for the Ewoks and a possible 3rd Ewok movie with an adult Cindel returning to Endor.

Okay, 1. I always thought it was a different tribe between the Star Wars film and the cavern of courage, 2. It was after Star Wars because of Mace’s outfit which looked like Luke’s in episode 4, BUT there wasn’t a Death Star, making of the death star or storm trooper presence. 3. The things they used to fight the storm troopers in episode 4, are similar to what they would probably use in a Gorax attack. 5. They were aggressive towards Luke and Hans solo because they were adult men, but not Leia and Cindell because they didn’t see them as a threat. With Mace they treated him like Hans and Luke in the beginning, until they realized he’s just a boy trying to act like a man.

Why are the Ewoks so hostile towards the rebels after being so welcoming to Cindel and her family? I always assumed that had something to do with the Empire. Their attitude towards outsiders likely changed after Stormtroopers showed up, especially ones speaking common. Okay, how the f*ck is this supposed to take place between 'Empire' and 'Jedi'? It is stated in this movie that Logray(check spelling) is "as old as the trees." Well. In 'Jedi' Logray(check spelling) was the same age as the other Ewoks. So, what is it? Did he reverse age between this movie and Jedi? And for that matter, if Logray(check spelling) is a different age...why isn't Wickett a different age? He seems to be about the same age in both films. Without jumping too far off this diving board...it seems that someone dropped the ball when it came to Logray(check spelling). He simply cannot be the same Ewok in both films. Okay, how the f*ck is this supposed to take place between 'Empire' and 'Jedi'? It is stated in this movie that Logray(check spelling) is "as old as the trees." Well. In 'Jedi' Logray(check spelling) was the same age as the other Ewoks. So, what is it? Did he reverse age between this movie and Jedi? And for that matter, if Logray(check spelling) is a different age...why isn't Wickett a different age? He seems to be about the same age in both films. Without jumping too far off this diving board...it seems that someone dropped the ball when it came to Logray(check spelling). He simply cannot be the same Ewok in both films. Maybe Logray(check spelling) is not a name but perhaps a position...medicine man? Now that could work. The Logray(check spelling) in 'Jedi' is the 'medicine man' out in the field or in battle. And the Logray(check spelling) in Ewok Adventure is the VILLAGE 'medicine man' and does not go out into battle. Now that can work!

What does canon mean
George Lucas gave the authors of the Star Wars novels great latitude with his characters and themes. So not everything written or produced with the Star Wars name on it is considered to be part of the "true" history of the Star Wars universe.
@@michaelrue1400 Except that Lucas wanted to make these movies, had the basic idea for them, and even helped direct and edit them. He also retconned his own movies in the prequels, so whatever.

The Ewok movies are the only ones in the Stars Wars franchise I've watched all the way through. The regular movies are too boring to me because they're sci-fi lol!

The further into dead cannon you go, the weirder the spelling of Woke gets. Mainly just to make Ewok less of an anagram. Lucas really wanted that sweet sweet merchandising money.
