I've always loved this concerto - one of my Top 5 from Vivaldi - and this is just another great performance of it. Kudos to Carmignola for taking a sweet touch with the opening Allegro, nailing the Larghetto with sensitivity but no schmaltz, and giving us a joyful final Allegro. 🥲 Bravo!

Carmignola, compaesano mio, un'interpretazione incredibile - il tempo perfetto. Questi picciotti dell'epoca barocca si devono essere passati gli spartiti spesso, sembra di sentire degli echi Händeliani, come spesso si sentono echi Vivaldiani in Händel. Complimenti anche per la qualità audio e video. Dalle inquadrature alla cura nella tonalità del colore, un video godibilissimo. Grazie!
Giuliano Carmignola is one of the best to perform Vivaldi. Great music of one of the greatest composers.
