That place at 1:44 when second violin comes in is actually so stupid to count, I don’t know how many times I missed that entry 😅 ( luckily I still have some time until we’ve got to perform) Also the only reason I chose 2nd was to avoid those arpeggios in the 3rd movement ( was pretty easy as my duet partner is 5 years older than me) but I still have to practice them „for bow technique practice“ 😒😂😂
Baroque tuning is around a semitone lower than modern tuning, in this case, 408 hz is too low though; I'd say they have tuned A 418. Beautiful Music yeah, of course, it's Vivaldi! Cheers!
Why is it concerto for TWO violins is transformed into something where first violin is dominating all and does not show musical respect for second solo violin. Unison is a musical line same for both soloist, but here we see a player who chose to ignore composers wish and by that she undermines her musical partner.
It was intended by the composer, Vivaldi's works always highlighted the 1st violinist, no matter how many solo parts are playing. It can be theorised that he played those parts himself or his star pupils, so it would make sense for the 1st violin solo part to be super extravagant.

Wherever Vivaldi is played there's always someone who's german or has german origins or is a fan of germany that has to point out that Bach (or Bach's version) is better....I leave to others my deepest comments, which would be very disgraceful in this lovely musical context...
Two composers two different worlds... I love playing Bach and love playing Vivaldi...those who compared are just people that believe that art is a competition. Bach admired Vivaldi, it is "the 20 and 21century human mind" that believe that...
@@orgelfan1675 Bach loved Vivaldi. Bach is great but Bach would never have thought himself so compared to Vivaldi. Two artists. Two men of music. That’s all that matters when the talents are that great.

Well, that depends on the piece, though for the Baroque Era, certainly very much of the time (particularly for the Baroque Concertos, of which I've never herd one that was not the case... well... minus the way that some people play them quite seriously, though that's not part of the piece itself), I would agree in general with this statement though.
@@iama8537 Disagree, there is a reason the audience is there to “watch” the performance. Otherwise an audio recording would do. Or they can perform behind the stage curtain.
I am sure to the purists this sound good...amazing even...BUT I am so used to hearing the Bach version (BWV593) that this sounds a scratchy mess. I'm sorry but it does nothing for me. Just picked this one to hear it as Vivaldi wrote it. :-)
Mazmusic Ornament .... Purist as in those who prefer to listen to music as it's written by the composer without being rearranged or played on instruments other than those intended. As in pure to the original. ☺️
Though, listening again....it doesn't sound as bad as I felt it did the time I posted before. Still not a patch on the Bach version on organ though. Heard it at an organ recital yesterday and looking forward to hearing it again on Monday. Love the piece....just prefer it on organ.
bonobo2go oh kk, well recently i been gravitating more to baroque, classical, that kind of sound. feels sort of pure compared to whats heard on the radio. the music is great i mean, it feels really good.
Baroque is brilliant...I love counterpoint, fugues, trio sonatas, passacaglias - has to be played on pipe organ for me though. Have a listen to any Bach, that's where I started. I then moved upwards to Buxtehude and sideways to Bach contemporaries...Handel. For me it's the way there are separate parts with their own melody all meeting and moving apart. There are some brilliant videos on here where you can watch a visual pattern of what you are hearing so you can follow the parts. Enjoy your journey into Baroque. :-)
Vivaldi’s music moves like sparkling fireworks and movement of Venice canals…
I love how excited they are
I love the cellist. She makes me very excited.
This piece is so exciting to play, I really can relate!!
It’s quite boppy music to play
What, like bebop? @@M_SC
0:57 the music was so powerful it moved the earth
God damn. I am in love with this masterpiece.
Hearing this performance (especially at that breakneck speed), it is to be like a roller coaster. Congratulations to this extraordinary ensemble
The BEST piece that I have ever listened
esecuzione stupenda! la giusta sontuosità!
An exceptional performance of one of my favorite pieces by Vivaldi. Superb!!!!
I love the way the first violinist dances while she plays.
Listening and practicing ancient and classical music for 20 years. But that was too much goodness even for me to bear. Thank you 🥰

I took up violin as an adult again after quitting as a kid as well. You can too
Fantastic performance
Fascinante la mujer del Primer Violín, su kinésica es mágica. música de hace ya casi 400 años de compuesta y la hace ver ultramoderna.
Thank you. The man who upload this video
III allegro part was just brilliant
Brilliant recording! You have captured the acoustics of the church without sounding 'hollow'.

Agree. But after learning violin 2 I learned violin one and I’m still practicing the hard bits but I enjoy it now
This is my JAM! 🤘🤘
These ladies kicked a&& what else can you say?
le sens de Vivaldi à son plus haut niveau, admiration profonde
the 1st violin solo is brilliant. she works to address the whole ensemble as well as the 2nd violin soloist individually.
That was Aisslinn Nosky, an accomplished violinist and conductor :) In a typical Chamber setting, the 1st violin serves as the conductor!
Μπραβο ,αυτος ειναι Vivaldi.!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very nice. Thank you!
CASPITA COME SGOBBANO QUESTE DONNE.....BRAVISIME / MI TUTTI COMPLIMENTI!
(After Vivaldi) BWV 593 (Bach)
rubacchiava qua e là...
I noticed it too
Let me bathe in the gloriousness of the Red Priest.
Excellent!
movement 3 is the best
Glorioso!!!
0:00 Allegro
3:35 Larghetto e spirituoso
6:24 Allegro
just awesome!
Muy buena interpretacion felicidades!!
Cherokee Rose Productions Bach made a version for Organ/Pedal Harpsichord (Or Pedal Piano) which is BWV 593. It's an Organ Reduction
Bravooo !!!!
❤❤❤❤❤BRAVO!!!!❤❤❤l❤❤
Exquisite
Wow!
Interprétation parfaite !!!
It took several minutes before I even noticed the guy playing the theorbo behind the 2nd violin. You don't see that instrument very often.
6:23 超震撼的第三movement.
It amazes me how violinists can look like actual robots when playing but sound so free and fluid!
Did she play the hard parts in the third movement UPBOW?
Beautiful! Just I question : I'm I paranoid or this is played in A 408 hz ?

This one is in 415 Hz. I'm currently tuned to 415 too. It's a great pitch, opens up your instrument.
@@UlimorUdamenta 415 HZ is actually what we call "Modern Baroque Pitch" as it's a compromise, & a very good one too.
@@RockStarOscarStern634 Thanks! Well aware, since I play early music, hehehe. Historical pitch is a crazy world. Haha
now thats what i'm talkin about sounds like electric guitar solos for the last movement
Génial !
Cool !

How about on 2 5 String Cellos? They could play the Solo Violin parts down an octave.

Not bad not bad at all
I think the classical music must be happy and lively not so seriously.

Sloppy performance... but that's understandable when you have to play violin and dance at the same time :)
Oh! I am so glad someone writes it! It is so disturbing nowadays. It is not music anymore but showing.
