    That ketchup fry up is a childhood breakfast memory right there! For the fat in the dough, instead of the butter would coconut oil work?

    • @tashez
      @tashez 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Today was the day!! The only variations to your recipe:
      - blended, not grated the coconut, squeezed out the juice which I used as liquid instead of coconut milk
      - substituted one cup of AP with WW flour
      - sprinkled oats on top before baking
      Results to be televised on Twitter 😁

    This man is obsessed with soy sauce 😂😂😂 Mommy used to have us burst the coconut outside (pieces would scatter). Now I put it in a plastic bag and burst it right on the kitchen floor 🤣🤣 pieces stay right there in the bag. Gonna try making coconut bake hops. I always turn to here for inspiration. Thanks Baidawi.

    Good morning
    When you leave the dough to rest for 1hr, if by mistake I leave it for more than the hr , let's say 2hrs , will anything bad happen to dough?
    Great combination always, hot coconut bake and butter is priceless

    • @eatahfood
      @eatahfood  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good morning, overproofing can occur and that can cause the bakes to not expand while baking. They will also begin to ferment so the taste will change

    • @karminiparsan9256
      @karminiparsan9256 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1
