Pio Tuwai has become an icon in Fiji rugby and the world. Never has World rugby seen a 6"5' forward dance so gracefully like a ballerina while toying with his oppersition with his brilliant offloads, canning chip kicks, and magnificent goose steps that makes a playmaker get jealous for his size. Osea Kolinasau was right, Pio makes 7's so beautiful to watch. Therefore, I hope IRB will enact him into the hall of fame soon.
Call Pio Tuwai the WIZARD! He mesmerised the opposition players like no other player in the history of 7'S rugby and Ryan knew he had 'headaches' for the other coaches in trying to control him when Pio Tuwai stepped onto the filed. Tuwai needed 2 players minimum to try and take him down, while the other players were trying to figure out when and where he was going to pass the ball, that is a handful!. He really fooled the opposition, there is no other word to describe him and I wonder what his opponents thought of him when he had the ball in hand coming towards them. Will always be rated in my books as the No 1 player, All time 7's rugby player & no one will ever come close to his magic & skills! Hall of Fame is where he should be!
