Thank you! So far Gambels numbers are good. I haven't had the chance to get down into Scalie country yet but reports are they are better than last year by just a little. Mearns opens next Friday so we will see more then if I get the chance to make it down. Early scouting reports have been spotty at best. We didn't have the best Monsoon rains this summer and the Mearns numbers will be down because of it but they will still be around.
HI Ray. I don't boot my dogs unless we are running in sand burrs. I used to boot Lexi when she was young but had more issues with boots than without. She had a number of large cactus spines puncture the boot and break off that I didn't know about. I had to dig them out later and put us out for a couple of weeks. When they run without boots they get used to it and it's only a second or 2 for me to flick it out with a comb or pull it out. Thanks for continuing to watch and support the channel!!

I do remember! Congrats! Getting a couple is always worth it! Nothing new. Lots of Gambels out there if your willing to get out and find them. Finding them isn't as hard this year👍

Have you ever booted the pups? Keep some those stickers out of their pads. Great video as usual.
