I love how you said get creative, and you weren't kidding. I've a to-do list to keep busy all my days in this mobile home. Everything has to be redone custom. It's the most frustrating part. I'm really grateful to see you have a realistic yet positive attitude about it. My husband can be quite cynical when I talk about the repairs I can't handle on my own.

Great advice! I’ve had a large hole in my wall for years. I hid it behind a framed picture, but after watching your video I think I’m going to try to create an accent wall perhaps with peel and stick tile or something else. Thanks!

I had a similar idea about covering a hole. But how would you attach the wood to the thin wall? I want to cover an old hole and attach a new towel bar to it in the bathroom. Thanks.
Hi, I would use toggle bolts. They expand after going thru a hole and a screw goes in the front. You can see them in my mirror video. Should work well !

Did you use floor tile to make your accent wall.
I didn't but fact is today most will work on floors or walls!
Look I dont want to cover the hole i want to patch it and dont care what it looks like. I can always paint the wall.
Hi....I have a video on here called mobile home wall repair... th-cam.com/video/rr1Lkj4S8uQ/w-d-xo.html which shows a patching method for VOG with minimal damage to your existing vinyl. If you are sure you will just paint afterwards you can use any drywall repair ...many are here on youtube. Be careful painting the VOG.
You can put masking tape over it and paint it. Someone did that in our fitst home.
