I personally need a video showing the correct way of installing those little wing doohickies that hold the outlet in. I can't seem to find a video anywhere and mine are NOT screwing in as easily as you're showing. I probably have them the wrong way or something, but there don't seem to be any tutorials just for them. Any help out there?! Thanks!
Some times they are just to old , I will apply some lube to the threads then back the screws all the way , put the receptacle in the hole - wall, and screw in , mare sure there is no insolation or a stud in the way that is preventing the (Wing) to flip over where can catch the wall , hopefully this works 🤞
In this area to get an electrician to change a power outlet is going to cost you around $220 + permit and inspection as well , that is the reason for doing this, yep changing the outlet install the new box to the stud and have a new piece of sheetrock will be the best option ✌️
