    Thank you for doing these videos!! They were so overdue in the community. I mount mine on my chin with a cutaway connected to the camera. This is a cool product, drilling holes in my helmet makes my head hurt thou!

      You don’t have to wear your helmet whilst drilling 😄

    Why would you need to cut away your camera? I Only ask as I’m getting into the skydive community and am learning everything

      For a line tangle I just learned from your other videos!

    • @SkydiveVibes

      Hahaha right! Most other systems cut away the whole helmet.

    I think I read somewhere that drilling holes on ur helmet would compromise the integrity and the safety of it.
    Is it true?

    • @SkydiveVibes
      @SkydiveVibes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it is impact rated yes. The certification simply is void. That helmet G3 isn't impact rated.

      It's not only about the rating! It's about safety and integrity, and yes, such installation surely has impact on the helmet and shoud never, never be done! It's a horrible idea, really. I like this Channel and the videos, but this idea made me feel bad - it should not be shared and promoted!

      Skydive Vibes I had no idea about cut aways for cams. I mean first of all I had a picture in my head, cut away for shoes, helmet, gloves and clock (and had to laugh about my own, imaginary, joke), but it’s such a great idea ^*

      Loop's Infinity, do you jump?

      Skydive Vibes I don’t know if you can call it a yes, but I have 14 jumps so, let’s say I’m starting...
      That could be the reason why I found you’re Channel. But I promise I will not spam your comments anymore ;)

      Hey sure! Welcome to the skydiving world. Do not worry. I am here to help and answer your questions so do not hesitate. ;) Was just curious about the "cutaway on the shoes thing & clock"... The clock is an altimeter.

    putting holes in a $300+ helmet gets me nervous... I'd probably just pay someone to do it; I couldn't afford to screw up.

    • @SkydiveVibes
      @SkydiveVibes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get that but mounts like this one is way safer. ;)
